Disappointed
I honestly don’t understand how this hotel is described as a “very good hotel”. Based on my experience, it was far from what was advertised.
I made a reservation for 2 adults and 2 children (ages 10 and 12) Before booking, I specifically spoke with the reservation team on the phone. They assured me that if a family room was not available, they would provide ‘connecting rooms’ to accommodate us properly.
However, what we were given was completely unacceptable. Instead of connecting rooms or a proper family setup, we were placed in totally separate rooms in different areas of the hotel. I was placed far from my wife and children, essentially sleeping alone in one room, while my wife had to stay in another room with one of the children and a rollaway bed. This is something I have never experienced in all my years of traveling around the world.
The rooms themselves were also very disappointing. One room had a bed suitable for only one person, and the other had a king size bed plus a rollaway bed. The space was extremely limited about 250 sq and once the rollaway bed was added, there was barely any room to move.
The rooms are outdated, the TVs look like old computer monitors, and the overall condition does not reflect what was described or expected.
The elevator is old, and you often end up using the stairs. The hotel also offers very limited amenities and services .
The pool is separated from the main building , and the location is not convenient if you want to access the beach or visit the Old Town. In most cases, you need to rely on Uber or taxis to get around to Antibes or Juan les pins.
What was most frustrating was the lack of proper accommodation and support from the hotel staff, despite the clear expectations set during my reservation call.
Overall, this experience was extremely disappointing and not at all what was promised. I would not recommend this hotel, especially for families.

We are sorry to read that your stay did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify several points regarding your reservation.
Your booking was made through Booking.com and did not include any note or special request indicating that you would be travelling with two children. We therefore had no way of knowing your family’s accommodation requirements before your arrival.
As soon as you checked in and informed us of the situation, our team modified the reservation and provided a complimentary upgrade so that both rooms could be located on the same floor, less than three metres apart.
We also offered to move your family into two connecting rooms for the remainder of your stay as soon as they became available.
Regarding the hotel’s design, Hôtel Juana does indeed feature a distinctive Art Deco style, in tribute to its history and the elegance of the 1920s.
Finally, we would like to clarify that the centre of Juan-les-Pins is only a five-minute walk from the hotel and can therefore be easily reached without a taxi.
We regret that the solutions and complimentary arrangements offered by our team did not allow you to enjoy your stay fully.
