A magical place...

What to start with...
Everything was perfect, from the welcome to the bouquet of tulips in the room.
We lived a 3 night stay with caring guests, always ready to help and exchange.
The rooms are impeccable cleanliness, totally in line with the photos, spacious, full of charms between the authenticity of the old and modern.
Thank you for the precious time spent at breakfasts. Everything is homemade, we will remember your jams for a long time!
Thank you for your advice, thank you for your welcome

Wonderful, special Maison d'Hotes

La Cantellerie is first-class and hosts, Rodolfe and Laurence, are second to none. This is a delightful old house, lovingly decorated and furnished with great style and taste. Its located on a pretty road in the heart of Courseulles sur Mer, ideal for visiting the Normandy coast and D-Day beaches. Our quiet bedroom and bathroom were charming and spacious, the bed was comfortable and everything was spotlessly clean. Breakfast is delicious and a highlight. The tables are beautifully laid in a lovely dining room and every day the breakfast was a bit different. Laurence has a collection of china and the table settings change too. We enjoyed the attention to detail including fresh flower arrangements in the rooms. There’s a nice lounge area for guests, easy, secure parking in the courtyard and the house is surrounded by a delightful garden.
It’s not just the lovely house, good breakfast, fresh flowers and small touches however which set Le Cantellerie apart. It is Rodolfe and Laurence themselves, who epitomise hospitality and quiet charm. They really care and look after their guests in a very pleasant way.
Rodolfe’s advice and recommendations for exploring the D-Day monuments and museums was invaluable, as was his help in finding places to eat. He and Laurence are the best of hosts and they have created a memorably special B&B. It’s one of the most enjoyable we have stayed in.
Thank you to you both and for extending your hospitality to our cousins who were staying nearby.

The Norman charm

As soon as the portal crossed (admittedly quite narrow) it is another world that welcomes you. The house surrounded by a sumptuous garden, and full of charm, is simply splendid. The interior is tastefully decorated and corresponds to the place. We were able to benefit from the "nest" which is a small annex located at the entrance. A real dollhouse with all comforts. Certainly a little more light in the bathroom and a little mirror would not have done wrong. But very little compared to the welcome of our guests. Breakfast is perfect, with natural and varied products. We had an unforgettable stay and can only advise to go.
