Good stay at Malsch!

I stayed at the hotel for 12 days, due to business at Malsch. Not much to add from previous evaluations, but some points can be emphasized. The room is ok: small, and without ventilation or air conditioning, but even in the first floor you can leave the windows open: it really helped during the night. If you need any cold beverages, you just need to pick one from the refrigerator in the corridor and pay later. The bed is comfortable and the pillow's height can be adjusted (which is really a nightmare for me when I travel). The shower issue is a little disturbing (as there are only simple curtains, when you take a shower the bathroom becomes totally wet), but water is strong and hot. Breakfast is really fine: good and different types of traditional german food. The staff is amazing: even with the problem of not having anyone in reception after 6PM (2PM on weekends), they really try to solve any issues you have.
The main problem I faced was the lack of wifi in the rooms (don't forget to bring your network cable if you need to work at the room!), and in order to use my smartphone I had to go to the lobby (if you're lucky, some rooms close to the lobby, even in the second floor, can capture the signal). The hotel is really close to some good markets (Rewe, DM, Lidl and Aldi Sud) and has an agreement with the Alter Banhof Restaurant (also very close): the first beer is free (hard to beat.....). If you don't want to spend time going to bigger cities close to Malsch, it's an excellent choice. If necessary, I would definitely stay at the hotel again.

Good hotel

I stayed here because we had to visit a company nearby. It's a great hotel we checked in very late they gave us a code to enter the hotel. Room was standard and bathroom clean. Only negative thing is they don't have wifi in the rooms but have cable internet. Breakfast was very good

Great staff! Facility is a little spartan in some ways.

Maybe as an American I've become too used to things like air conditioning, but I like at least having the option to turn it on. To their credit, the staff did place a fan in our room that helped during the heat wave, as well as a small fridge for my insulin (which one of the female staff members carried to our room by herself), and this was not a light, portable unit, either!
I was very impressed by their "We'll do anything for you" attitude, not to mention the wonderful breakfasts (included in the price). Only two problems: a porous shower curtain that allowed the bathroom to get wet and no night staff.
This is a small (maybe 18 rooms) place - very quiet and peaceful. I'd stay there again.

Quiet spot, friendly staff, convenient Black Forest stopover

On a visit to friends in Malsch for 3 days in June this was a very nice place to stay. Hard to gain entry after hours so be sure to arrive on time. Malsch is undergoing road construction so don't depend on your GPS until next year. A short trip to Ettlingen and Baden Baden and the French border. If you are going to Malsch we highly recommend this hotel on the meadow. Great breakfast as well!

Badesee + Swingerclub = DAS Hotel der ersten Wahl!

Sehr schöne Zimmer mit Kühlschrank. Hotel bietet gekühlte Getränke fürs Zimmer an; im Zimmer liegt eine Info-Mappe dazu.
Hier gibt es das allerbeste Frühstück in der 3-Sterne-Kategorie für NUR 7,00 €! Man bekommt hier auch Cappuccino etc dazu.
In anderen 3-Sterne Hotels kostet das Frühstück zwischen 13-15 € und ist nicht immer so gut wie hier.
Vom Bahnhof ist das Hotel ca 15 Minuten zu Fuß entfernt. In der Umgebung gibt es einige Badeseen, ca 15 km entfernt.
Der Ort hat einen sehr eleganten SWINGERCLUB; hier werden große Events angeboten mit ca 300 Gästen. SEHR EMPFEHLENSWERT in Verbindung mit diesem Hotel! Hier steigt auch mehrmals im Jahr die Fußballmannschaft des FC Bayern München ab!
