Best place to stay if you want to visit the region

Very friendly and flexible owners. We felt welcome from the start. The rooms and the pool are very clean. They serve a very good breakfast. They have free parking and the hotel is within walking distance from the beach and centre of Plakias.

A perfect place in Plakias!

We really enjoyed our stay at Irida Studios. Maria and Manolis were the perfect hosts! They were very communicative in the booking process and were very helpful during our stay. Their effortless hosting skills made it feel like we were being welcomed into a home rather than a set of apartments. The apartment was compact but had everything we needed and was decorated to a high standard. Also spotless and cleaned every day. We were on the top floor and had a cracking view of the mountains - it was a special and private area to watch the sunset from most nights. We enjoyed hanging out with the cats on site and of course, Rocky the dog. We would love to come back and would recommend to anyone that wants a a quiet and chilled holiday in a beautiful part of Crete.

Great location

The Irida was idealy situated between four beaches. There was Plakias Beach West and Plakias East, there was Souda Bay and Damona Bay, and all within walking distance. If you wanted breakfast you could just order it, which we did and it was delicious. It was a realy intimate hotel with there only being nine rooms.

Lovely place!

We liked Irida Studios and Plakias a lot. Calm and nice family atmosphere, comfortable beds, new bathroom, AC, wifi and a clean pool. A very nice and helpful family who runs it. Good walking distance to a big supermarket, central Plakias and the beach. Do not hesitate choose Irida!
