Birthday getaway
This was a short break with my granddaughter for her 16th birthday
Hotel is situated well, walking distance of all thw shops/bars restaurants. There is a bus stop directly outside hotel gates that will take you to other locations on the island, we travelled to Porto cristo for the day. Calla millor beach is outstanding. Hotel has a nice relaxed atmosphere and its friendly.
Room was generous in size plenty of wardrobe space, beds were comfortable but pillows could do with an upgrade. Very clean, nice white bedding and towels.
Dining room small but we always found a table and never queued, staff were helpful and friendly. Food was generally good, bit repetitive but always found something to eat. Bar drinks let it down. Cocktails were awful and if you wanted a proper cocktail you had to pay. On the plus side they did do prosecco/spirits
Pool can get a bit crowded when its busy as its only small and when people use floats it can get a bit too much. The steps out of the pool need attention very unsafe and the poolside toilets need updating.
Snack buffet poor, melon, dried bread sandwiches and some dry biscuits. Not great.
I would rate this hotel a 3 star but great if you want good location and somewhere clean and comfortable 3.5/5

You get what you pay for but not upto standard for an All Inclusive hotel
You get what you pay for at this hotel. Overall the hotel is okay, I'll start off with the positives.
Great location - about a 20min lovely walk up the coast to Cala Bona town centre where you have a lot of bars, restaurants and shops.
Rooms and public areas are clean - rooms can be cleaned everyday if you need, bar and restaurant area well maintained and pool area all great.
Pool and bar area - loads of sunbeds so no running for them in the morning and plenty of indoor and outdoor seating at the bar.
Staff - staff weren't overly friendly (with us anyway) but they worked hard and seemed nice. Special mention to Maria on reception :)
For the cons I do want to mention me and my partner were half board but from what we gathered all inclusive is not worth it at this hotel. All inclusive does not mean all inclusive here, you get a very limited drinks menu and if you want to have the other 80% of the menu you need to buy an all inclusive premium package.
Drinks - we were half board so no included drinks but I got a pornstar martini which was about €9. Literally the worst cocktail ive ever had, was like lime sugar water. My partner got a beer which was nice. All inclusive you can only have half pints of beer, they do not allow pints, then basically like wine, 5 or 6 basic cocktails and basic spirits (I've included photos of the drinks menu, blue are the items you can have on regular All Inclusive and purple is what you would get if you bought their premium all inclusive package, as you can see theres a big difference). We did ask how much to upgrade from Half board to all inclusive and they said €35 per person per day. I'm guessing it would be about the same to upgrate to all inclusive premium. They have juice and fizzy drinks by snack table for you to help yourself.
Snack bar - this was BAD. Again we didn't use it as we weren't all inclusive but it was basically some fruit and biscuits from left over breakfast and ham and cheese sandwiches sat out in the sun and curling up at the ends. Really dire stuff for an all inclusive hotel.
Entertainment - some basic activities throughout the day like snooker, shuffleboard, water Zumba etc. And we only stayed in the hotel for the first night as we got there late but it was basically silence until 9.30pm and then an acoustic reggae act. Needless to say we went out every night after that so can't comment on the rest of the week.
Food - food was okay, basically the same stuff everyday. We changed from dinner to lunch so we could have dinner out every night but by the end of the 4 days I was really sick of eating the same breakfast and lunch items. A lot of stuff swimming in oil. Like literally a bowl of cheese cubes next to the salad which was sat in a load of oil. I'm very much a sweet person too and the dessert section was pretty dire. Again if I'd paid for all inclusive I'd expect a lot more than what they were offering.
Times - says pool times are 10am-6pm but when we were there it was about 30 degrees by 8am. People were literally dying in the heat wanting to get in the pool so in the end we just did. I think saying you can't get in the pool until 10am is ridiculous. Also the bar is 10am-11pm which i think is very early for a hotel bar. Go into Cala Bona and head to the bars there, most of them open until 1am. Special mention to 60s Music Bar, great vibes, great tunes and some very good singers on.
Overall for a 3 star hotel you probably get what you pay for i just feel for an All Inclusive hotel it should really up its game a little bit. I'd expect a better snack bar, more options of drinks and better entertainment. Would not come back here but definitely would go back to Cala Bona. It's a lovely place!

Lovely Hotel.
It’s a lovely hotel and the staff keep it well cleaned and tidy and they are a credit to Globales company. The walk into San Coma is about 15 minutes where the nightlife is on roughly at 21:30 ish. There are 2 venues in the town called Hotel Surf and Live Music which we attended and they have good acts on if that’s what you want. The food in the restaurant is lovely plenty of choice.

Small, friendly hotel but needs improvement.
Mum and daugter (16yrs) from North Yorkshire, 4 night last minute booking. The hotel was very clean, great location, mostly friendly and helpful staff. It felt safe due to being a small, family run hotel. Rooms were large and spacious, bathroom dated with a shower over bath with bath curtain but perfectly fine. Shower curtain rail fell down during 1st shower but the owner got this sorted the following day by maintenance team. Pool was small but ok, loads of sunbeds at all times of day...no sun bed wars which was why I booked here!! Fantastic! We were all inclusive, food was ok. English breakfast, freshly cooked omlettes and fried eggs, yoghurts, fruit, breads. Lunch and dinner had varied options for everyone, lovely choice of salads, paellas, pasta, stews, show cooking fish and meats, evening themed nights Mexican night, Italian, Spanish night. Fresh fruit and puddings great choice. For a small hotel I think the meal options were good. All staff were very hard working and friendly in buffet. Let downs for me were the AI drinks, very basic offering, very little included, which i have never experienced before. The snack bar was very poor quality, sandwiches, fruit and biscuits only. Things happened during our stay e.g towels been taken from room and not replaced, even when towels were hung up, then couldn't get more as laundry staff had left for day. Been asked to leave buffet table as we had finished but buffet was still open for another 15mins so that felt a bit odd. In all the hotel was nice, small and friendly but really sad to say I personally wouldn't return.

Great, clean and comfortable stay for a family
We have just got back from here as a family of 5 with children of different age ranges.
We lost count of the amount of people that we heard saying that this was their 4th/ 5th visit etc and we can see why.
We had the such a brilliant stay. Rooms were lovely, housekeeping did a wonderful job at keeping them clean for the week. Pool was great especially safe for the little ones and the lifeguards very friendly. The restaurant was great, food always very fresh and delicious, the staff did a great job at ensuring that food was replaced.
Entertainment was brilliant, just enough to keep you entertained but allowing you to have a peaceful stay too.
All staff very polite and always said hello, they were all incredibly helpful.
We loved the hotel, the area and the ability to travel about so conveniently with the bus stop right outside the hotel. We would never usually visit a place twice but we would absolutely return and were incredibly sad to leave.
