Sea view room

We stayed here as a couple for 9 nights in a deluxe room with sea view. The room was clean beds comfortable and the view simply stunning. The fridge is very noisy so we would turn that off at night time. All the staff are friendly and attentive. We ate at the restaurant a few times and it was delicious and reasonable, roof top bar great again the view amazing. The only problem is either get some slow closing doors or ask guests to be mindful when closing their room doors as they would slam shut day and night, slightly annoying when you want a lie in. Location there are restaurants and shops right outside but the main area is a good 30 minute walk but its flat and you walk across the coast so doesnt feel too bad. Beach nice sandy area, sea not clear and can be quite merky depending on weather. We would stay again.

Disappointing

I am outraged by the quality of service provided; upon my arrival, I was informed that the spa and indoor pool were closed. I requested to cancel my reservation, which I immediately did on Booking, and the receptionist told me that my room cancellation would incur a charge of 2 nights if I did not accept it. Once in the room, I noticed that the national children's channels were not working, except for the news channel. I asked the receptionist to come, and she offered to let me watch YouTube for €250 for the two nights, which is a bit of a joke. I am not someone who likes to complain, and yet I travel a lot, but this is the first time I have seen this. I expect explanations from management and a partial refund of my reservation.

A superb place, right at the sea!
Everything was fully OK, superb breakfast, both indoor and outdoor swimming pool (even if it was quite cold in mid May), nice room etc.
Really recommend this place.

Clean, beach front, friendly, small

We stayed for a week at Eter hotel 22nd -29th July. We arrived in the evening and were greeted by a very friendly receptionist. Our sea view room was lovely clean & spacious for our family of 3. All facilities in the room worked well (air con, hair dryer, shower, safe). Although there was cups & kettle there wasn’t any tea or coffee offered. We had brought our own so it didn’t bother us. We appreciated the water provided though.
We were booked on bed & breakfast basis. The breakfast was ok. They offered a small selection of usual continental offerings, fruit, cereal, pastries, ham & cheese. Local bread but no facilities to toast bread??.
As there wasn’t any signage of what each item was on the buffet (some guests were asking staff) it wasn’t always clear what was being offered on the hot buffet, such as what the sausages were, what was in the pastry parcels, the type of omelette was being offered. The coffee machine was a little temperamental and would sometimes give you hot chocolate not coffee.
We enjoyed the pool area & beach very much. The staff kept the area clean & when we reported an issue with a broken tile around the pool it was fixed by the next day. Pool towels can be hired for your stay.
We didn’t eat in the hotel a la carte but the food in the restaurant looked good.
The evening entertainment consisted of singing duo.
The hotel’s location is beach front and you can easily walk to all the facilities within the resort.
The only negative I had was in our last hour on our final day. We knew we had to check out of our room (standard) so had to use the public facilities close to the pool. We were happy with the provisions until we realised the showers were cold and when I mentioned it to the reception she wasn’t interested with my complaint. It left a little bit of disappointment to the end of an excellent holiday. Perhaps the provisions provided need to be looked at as their spa area wasn’t being used and had shower that perhaps were warm!. Good value for money hotel

Hotel 5* at the top

Hotel very well pool and jacuzzi too well sometimes alone to enjoy it well heated setting top buffet breakfast very good condition really very varied
