Overnighter at Griffith

Nice quiet overnight stay. Caravan sites are level ,plenty of room. Amenities were clean. Friendly greetings at reception. A couple of km's out of the town.Highly recommend staying at this caravan park

Park generally needs a bit of work

Recently stayed at this caravan park for one night camping in our tent and had booked a powered site. When we first arrived the reception fellow was not up to date with our booking as he said he’d been watering all the grassed areas - hence they were all wet. For the one available grassed area, he wasn’t sure if the power outlets were working! We ended up on an area that was more dirt than grass, uneven and not ideal. There is a well equipped camp kitchen area complete with TV. The amenities block is fairly dated and the inside lighting is fairly poor, making it a bit dark while showering. A bit noisy at night from traffic.

Disappointed cabin

The cabin is in need of an upgrade. The Lino floor was torn in places with duct tape holding it down, excellent pressure in the shower, again upgrade required.
It was cold at night and the aircon worked overtime.
The park grounds were nice and the park kitchen was really well set out. Fire pit available to chill and meet others. For the price this cabin was not worth it.
There are new cabins.

Broaken A/C - staff disinterested

Nice enough location, but I've been driving 8hrs with 2 doggos and it's 37 degrees at 6pm. My room air conditioner does not work. Staff completely disinterested in helping and lied that the room is not advertised as an A/C room. Lousy effort!

The Griffith caravan village is basic.

The Griffith caravan park is basic. Half the issues are that maintenance is not undertaken in the cabin we stayed in and we think elsewhere
Near the single bed some of the panelling is falling off and the crap combination oven and hotplates are on sabbatical. One hot plate works whilst the other has a holiday. It looks like an aldi counterfeit knockoff.
The single bed I slept in had a thin mattress so you could feel the slats underneath poking through into your back.
if you want people to recommend your caravan park try to look after the maintenance. It is your business asset I would think
