Central hotel with very friendly staff

We asked very spontaneously in this hotel and got a nice double room for the next day.
The location of the hotel is very central and everything is within walking distance very easily accessible.
The staff is always very friendly and helpful. The rooms are very nice and cozy. We felt very comfortable around and would book this place again anytime.

Nice hotel

Centrally located in a very nice old building. nice rooms, all very well maintained and picobello clean, delicious varied breakfast and very nice, helpful owner. Parking right outside the door.
We would stay there again and again.

You couldn't have imagined anything better in the old town centre

A great hotel! 3 minutes walk to the main square, extremely friendly staff, rooms spacious and clean, breakfast well stocked and sufficient, value for money more than satisfactory; parking management (understandably due to the space - we were happy to accept this however!)
Highly recommended!!!

Surprisingly renovated

I am writing this review on behalf of my husband, who stayed at the Stadthotel with 2 other people for business purposes from Sunday, May 12 to Wednesday morning, May 15. My husband was the first to notice that it has been beautifully renovated. The rooms and bathrooms have also received a nice upgrade, hotel chic. Everything was very clean.
What also surprised my husband was the extensive breakfast buffet, everything fresh. The breakfast buffet was very nice and clearly prepared. Good coffee. More than 4 years ago my husband also visited this hotel for business purposes, so it was a big surprise. Friendly service and my husband let the owner know how enthusiastic he was about everything, the 2 other people were also very enthusiastic

A real discovery

Modern city hotel in a historic building. Spacious rooms (we had a family room with two separate bedrooms). Immaculately clean and very friendly staff. Great: fresh flower arrangements and the lovingly prepared breakfast buffet that left nothing to be desired. We were able to park right by the hotel, from where you can get to the town square with bars, cafes, shops and restaurants in just a few minutes. For us, both Schärding and the city hotel were a real discovery. We will definitely be back!
