Set on 1.650 metres above sea level, Berghof Tauplitzalm enjoys a perfect location within the Tauplitz ski area, next to cross-country ski trails. The slopes lead directly to the hotel. All rooms provide private bathrooms and king-size beds.

Pure relaxation

A simple but nice and pure hotel - try very hard - simple map but top - nice distant view and absolute silence - as cars are only allowed to drive - hiking trails are abundant - in every difficulty level

Good place for rest

According to the wonderful place in Alps mountains it's quite cheap place. Accommodation quality is on average level, but according to the age of the facility it's good and clean. Food service is very good, in quality and quantity too.

Terrible

The food was terrible and the portions were really small. Fried fish with rice and ketchup is not a good idea at all. It was disgusting. Rooms are tiny with old furniture. The extra bed was sized for a 6 year old child, not for an adult. It is definitely not worth the price. I don’t reccomend this hotel to anyone.

Weird hotel

Only stay here if nowhere else
Take own snacks
Stayed here as only place open on way to Albert Appelhaus hut
Simple newly renovated rooms
Odd foyer with grubby chairs
Terrible dinner -salty broth, nondescript meat in sauce, cake
Ok breakfast
Staff were trying hard

Stunning view and friendly staff

This is not a place to come because of luxury elements, as rooms and restaurant is not the latest design. However the place gives you a great experience without that. We were not looking for these elements as the view and the nature was more important. We had Hungarian waiters in the restaurant they were very kind and helpful.
