Hidden treasure.

The best hospitality motto I know of is “You arrive as guests and leave as family”. Mariel and her staff made this a reality. We were looking for quiet, comfortable and off the beaten path. We found that at Sunrise Cabanas and more. If you want to be a tourist, go to Cancun. If you want to experience Belize, and the best of Belizean hospitality, try Sunrise Cabanas.

Best place to stay in the beautiful gem of Dangriga Town.

Our 10-night stay at Sunshine Cabanas was absolutely amazing! From the moment we arrived, we felt right at home. The cabanas are beautiful, cozy, and thoughtfully designed with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. Every detail has been carefully considered, making it the perfect place to unwind.
Waking up each morning to the stunning beachfront view and the sound of the waves was unforgettable. The location is peaceful, yet close enough to enjoy everything Dangriga has to offer. The property is well maintained, clean, and truly feels like a hidden gem.
The host Mariel is more than amazing and hospitable! She is always there and responds almost immediately to our call or messages!
If you’re looking for a quiet beachfront escape with charming accommodations and all the comforts of home, I can’t recommend Sunshine Cabanas enough. We stayed for 10 nights and loved every minute of it. We will definitely be back!

Awesome place to stay

The service, hospitality, cleanliness and location were all great. The property provides ample space, very kid friendly if you are traveling with children. The host was very kind and always available when needed. Overall the stay was great.

pure coastal bliss

From the second I arrived, I felt like a VIP but in a totally relaxed, "welcome home" kind of way. The staff doesn't just provide service; they provide curated experiences. The grounds are lush, quiet, and perfectly scaled for travelers who value privacy and a zen-like atmosphere. The beach is pristine; rugged beauty just steps from your door. I spent mornings watching the sunrise in total solitude—pure coastal bliss.

Rewinding

We were dropped off in Dangriga after an intense 3-day sailing trip. We used our short stay to rewind and recharge at Ocean View.
Ocean View is a great place for those things: the cabanas are located beautifully near the ocean, are fully equipped and are in excellent state. Host was super friendly, helped us with information about local public transport and responded really quick to any questions we had. Would really recommend this place if you’re like us, looking for a place to rewind off the beaten path!
