The place was really clean and well maintained. The staff were very friendly and helpful . I would really recommend this motel if you are looking for a budget friendly and clean stay at the heart of Goderich.

Expedia claimed 2 things that ended up being false, one was EV charging which they don’t have on site, it’s a paid stall across the street and 2 was that it was tempur pedic bedding. Now I would have excused some firm Amazon memory foam mattress but this was a thin coil spring cheap mattress with cheap pillows. Not at all tempur pedic bedding. I had a great experience with a motel in tobermory so I was thinking that Canadian motels are just different but this felt more like an American motel.

Looks like the motel is renovated recently. The room and the bath was super nice and clean. Definitely recommended.
They still need to work on the front desk, it was nice to arrive and have the front desk locked. Someone need to be there, the lady arrived within 5-6 min and it was super nice welcoming and the check in was easy.
    Thanks again Maple Leaf Motel
