Pleasant stay.
If you stay here, here’s what you’ll get:
A warm welcome.
A clean room and facility.
A spacious room.
Plenty of hot water with good pressure.
Good WiFi.
A deck from which you can sit enjoy a beer and watch the tide roll in and out.
A quiet place. The only noise I heard at night was the waves crashing on the beach.
Close proximity to the beach.
Walking distance to Canoa.
Access to cold beer.
Friendly staff.
Our room did not share a wall with another room.
A big jug of water in the room with glasses. That was nice to have.
There was no a/c in our room, but we didn’t need it. We slept with front window slightly open and this kept the room at a comfortable temperature. There were two fans, with one being a ceiling fan. We didn’t use either.
Complaints: One is very minor. There’s no night stands next to the bed. Not that they are necessary, just nice to have. I mean what do I do with my reading glasses.But there were electrical outlets on both sides of the bed. Electrical outlets can be an issue in some locations in Ecuador. The other, the price of breakfast was excessive. $15 each for trigillio, coffee and orange juice. I’d be surprised if you couldn’t walk into town and get the same for half that price. I know I can in Quito. The bottom line is I’ll probably be a repeat customer, but I’ll walk to town for breakfast.
