No superfluous luxury, but a clean, welcoming hotel where you are well looked after.
€125pp including breakfast and 3-course dinner – and that makes this stay really worth it
Via NuEvenWeg we stayed a weekend (3 days) at Hotel Pistono in Dieblich. And to be fair: for €125 per person, including breakfast and a 3-course dinner, the value for money is really the biggest asset here.
Don't expect a luxury wellness resort, but a hotel where hospitality is written in capital letters. The staff is friendly and makes you feel welcome immediately.
The room was on the small side and the bathroom tiny and somewhat dated, but everything was clean and tidy. The hotel itself is a small maze of corridors and rooms, but everything is clearly signposted.
The breakfast was well catered for and in the evening we enjoyed a 3-course dinner, where the main course was served buffet style. Especially in combination with the low total price, this is really an excellent deal and you get surprisingly good value for money.
Dieblich itself has little to offer, so you're mainly dependent on the hotel. Thank God that's not punishment. The large terrace is a lovely place to settle down with a drink in the afternoon or evening. Keep in mind that it fills up quickly on weekends.
All in all, this stay is all about one thing: the exceptional value for money. No superfluous luxury, but a clean, welcoming hotel where you are really well looked after for little money.

Great hotel!
Hotel Pistono is an excellent hotel: nice room, excellent cuisine, friendly staff, nice wellness area...

All very positive,
On arrival, Warmly welcomed.We arrived with the bus company Schatorje. Everything was thought out and planned. I didn't find my room nice, (purely spatial ) that was swapped without complaint. Very friendly staff, the rooms were cleaned throughout the Christmas days. The beds with good mattresses The rooms were very clean. We had half board. Breakfast left nothing to be desired. In the evening lavish buffet,whatever was re-cleaned,never stood in front of empty platters,there were high-quality salmon on large platters and also roast beef, side dishes,we were very satisfied Also hot food..The boss came personally every evening and asked if everything was okay.For Christmas she brought as presend of the house a small bottle of sparkling wine for each guest.We had a large room for ourselves and always the same places,which made it easy for the older guests to orientate themselves. I can miss this hotel any guest, here you can feel very comfortable. Everything is done for the guest here.I will definitely come back.

Feel good
It's like coming home.

Not for quiet stays
Less suitable for business travelers. Tourist hotel for bus trips. Corresponding to the All Inclusive in Mallorca. Checkin objective, room also but really very clean. Restaurant corresponding to the hordes from the buses vol and loud. Many seats, all reserved by name and provided for these guests. Buffet accordingly. Bulk handling. Despite reservation problems to get a reasonable place. I was supposed to be sitting in a side room with a children's birthday. After 10 hours of customers and over 350km of driving. Then get another table in the entrance area. You shouldn’t believe that the majority of guests at home don’t have doors Bread then came with main course, Service naturally annoyed and absolutely uninterested if you still need something or if it tastes good. Mass handling, almost like in a retirement home (without wanting to be rude) and is good. Liver with mashed potatoes was very good though. Wine rather flat-strange for a wine region. Wasn’t asked which wine I would use after asking for a Blanc de Noir either. The only alternative was clearly Pinot Gris or Riesling. So many wineries here and no recommendation. Two nights booked, but not again. This is not a hotel for business travelers! Clearly my opinion, but I've been staying in a different hotel for 38 years almost every week and there were enough hotels that you can really recommend and which I liked to do. I'm afraid this is not one of them. Sorry.
