Nice, friendly place to stay!

My wife and I recently stayed at Hotel Hollmann for 7 nights. I've been coming to Halle for business nearly every year for the past 14 years and always look forward to staying here; Frau Siekendiek is always welcoming. My wife came along for this trip and she also really enjoyed how comfortable, relaxed and at home she felt. "Apartment - 37" is a great room for a longer term stay. Also, the full-breakfast is very good, "Lecker" :-)

Good hotel with very good German food

A great stay with a neat room, extensive breakfast and a good restaurant. Too bad it is on a main road and traffic starts around 5 o'clock. There is an ambulance station next to the hotel and below my room and it had to come out with sirens on one occasion

Two nites, nice stay, silent and good breaky

I stayed there for two nites. I was attracted by the big parking lot, but honestly, in the evening it got crowded; nevertheless, I alsways found space for my car. The recpetion lady was very polite and explained everything in detail. The room was huge enough for one (single room), good bath, deposit box, wardrobe, desk, chair and a window to open. Everything was clean and in good order. The breaky offered a lot of things, even fresh fruit salad and the scrambled eggs were great. Everybody got a jug with coffee, thus there was no queuing at a machine!
The hotel is a short walk away from the main station and the town center of Halle/Westf.
Unfortunatley, I didnt make it to the restaurant.
Next time again.

MOW 2017 & 2018

i cant recommend this hotel highly enough , there is nothing that was not to much trouble for any of the staff at the Hollmann hotel.
the lady that owns the hotel was just fantastic , as some nights we had 15/ 20 guests that all needed feeding and at short notice .
Amazing !!!!

Small, family-run hotel

I have stayed at this hotel twice, but 12 years apart. I was interested to see on my second visit recently what it would be like after such a long time.
I am pleased to say they maintain their standards.
It is a small, very clean and comfortable hotel in Halle. Rooms are quite large, simply furnished and comfortable. There is an 'honesty bar' available.
The restaurant and bar attached to the hotel are very nice, serving local food made from quality ingredients with very generous portions.
The breakfast is also very good.
I look forward to staying here again, perhaps in another 12 years!
