Extra gute service

Due to a train cancellation in Bonn, I could no longer travel to Heidelberg and arrived late in the evening. There was no one left at the front desk, and my phone battery was almost dead. The host came back to the hotel (several times, due to my miscommunication) on his evening off to offer me a safe, warm place to sleep. The next morning I had to travel on before breakfast, which is why the hotel did not charge for breakfast out of goodwill. What an extra service, and I am very grateful to them for helping me so well on this late, cold, dark evening!

Lies and fraud

The staff was very nice also the location was good.The description of the hotel is outrageous, I as a wheelchair user must be able to rely on a hotel description if it says wheelchair accessible with elevator to the upper floors. I had to climb 6 stairs to the elevator and then the wheelchair couldn't fit through the door. Were not nice DAYS. Greeting Frank

Pinger stay

Excellent hotel, very friendly, stayed before as a group, this time on our own. Front rooms face station, but not a huge problem. Breakfast could do with some fruit otherwise continental and basic. No tea facilities so if you fancy a cuppa bring a kettle etc..

Great base for Euro 2024

Was across in Germany to follow Scotland at Euro 2024, and with a number of games I planned to attend in the north west of Germany, me and my friends decided upon staying in Remagen to give us a base where we could stay for our prolonged stay, as well as maybe somewhere more quiet that we could relax between games.
After switching between apartments and other hotels, we settled on the Pinger Hotel.
Located directly across from the train station, and right on the edge of the town centre, it was a great base for our stay.
We were flying in to Frankfurt, and while we were delayed and resulted in us not arriving until 00:30, they sent us the code of the door, and our room keys were waiting for us upon entry.
Nice spacious rooms, and very clean.
Only thing that spoiled it (though not a fault of the hotel) was the guy building a boat in the court yard behind the hotel, as he would start work at 8am EVERY day, and would be kep awake by the sound of drilling, hammering and grinding.
All in all though, great place to stay which served as a great base for our Euro 2024 adventure.

The pillows and the bed are perfect, the hotel is cleaned and breakfast include home made scramble eggs, this is fantastic and very good. Location close to the train station is perfect.
The staff is warm, professional and welcome very well their customers. Thank you!
