Great short break in Singen

My wife gave me two nights at the Mia. We have deliberately chosen two working days: Just enjoy and do some shopping on the side without the hustle and bustle at the weekend. Everything fit wonderfully, absolutely the right choice! Real feel-good effect! Very friendly welcome and helpful! And also flexible, as we attach great value to the factor of rest. We got the quietest room in the whole house! Everything also extremely clean and functional. Comfortable bed and super pillow. Shopping very within walking distance. And for a wonderful black beer and a home-style, fine dinner in the barefoot we didn't need to cover ten metres. Just perfect! All the ladies at reception and also the cleaning equipe were always friendly! We were just happy with everything! Would love to come back - thank you very much!

Cold rooms and poor service

We had booked two rooms in this hotel from 29.12.2025 and paid almost 1,000 € for it. Unfortunately, the stay was marked by significant shortcomings.
In both rooms the heating was broken on the first night, the rooms were freezing cold and a relaxing stay was not possible. Fan heaters were not provided until the second day, but this is not an adequate substitute for a functioning heater.
On the evening of 01.01.2026 our room card suddenly stopped working. The reception was not staffed, the master key in the restaurant also broken, so we had no access to our rooms for a long time. Security only arrived after about two hours.
Overall a massive impairment of the booked service. For the price paid, this service is absolutely unacceptable. We are very disappointed and unfortunately cannot recommend this hotel.

I was travelin with my parents to visit family in Ulm. We stayed in Singen prior to our return flight from ZRH. We LOVED our short stay at the MIA. The room was so beautifully decorated and comfortable and the amenities were equally good. And we loved our interactions with the staff. You can tell they take great pride and satisfaction in their work to make guests feel at home and have a pleasant stay. We will definitely be coming back!
