Good hotel

Good position close to the tram for downtown and well close to highways, clean, small rooms, basic breakfast (I suggest at least to add some croissants,(good for italians and french).
Good for visiting Cologne and for the shows as the rate remains ok.
The staff is kind and flexible, but they don't speak English too much.
I suggest this place if you care about the above.

Never again

Currently staying here for 18 days. The hotel has seen better days.
- It smells old and nasty.
- There are water stains on the ceiling.
-The room is tiny abd there's no refrigerator.
- The internet feels like it's 2005, with no upgrade option available.
-The breakfast is poor and cheap.
- The windows don't close to well, thus making the room noisy.
- Soap dispensor empty before i got here.
-No free power outlets
Only good thing about the hotel is the nice staff.

FAILURE TO CONFIRM BOOKING

Initially I rang and made a booking on the 22nd August 2016. As requested I confirmed by email on the same day. I did not receive any confirmation. When contacted close to the visit they said that there were no rooms available. This may have been because we were a gay couple. They did not offer any assistance and left us in a very difficult position a few days prior to out departure to Cologne. I will never use this hotel and suggest others do likewise.

Lovely place to stay v near to Cologne town centre

Always a warm welcome, as family and friends sometimes here on an annual basis, for a reunion. Lovely staff, great food and only a short distance from Cologne town centre - good value for money too. Would thoroughly recommend this place if you are staying here for a weekend and want to see the sights that Cologne has to offer.

Quite nice

A good hotel in the outskirts of Cologne with easy train access to the city centre. Not new, but everything scrupulously clean. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast perfectly adequate. We had a meal in the bar. Good simple food well cooked and plenty of it.
