‘Paradisiac Provalma’

Our Third time at the beautiful Provalma. This gorgeous place, is just heavenly. Sitting high on a hill , looking over to the Chora, and down to the sea and beach, Bliss!
But as mentioned on our previous visits, the beautiful apartments/villas are stunning, each with a view to die for. But what makes it is the superb hospitality and genuine warmth from the owners, Yiannes and his Mum.
Oh and the breakfast delivered each morning is Yummy! Cannot wait until we return next year!

Isolated, charming Elegance

Beautiful views, friendly staff and generous and comfortable accommodation. Our stay at Provalma was wonderful.
Specifically, the accommodation is up a hill a few kilometres from Chora town, Yiannis picked us up from the Port. However, we quickly realised we needed a car as it is a little isolated and no basic tea, coffee, drinks are provided. The local car rental firm Evo was terrific one call and 40 minutes later a little Fiat 500 was delivered to Provalma for 40 Euros a day. Problem solved. We used this car to drive back to the ferry and they just picked it up from the car park there, could not have been easier.
Breakfast at the Provalma was in the room overlooking the stunning view. You chose your continental items and it was delivered at your preferred time, again a lovely touch. This is a quiet contemplative place to stay, we loved it.

A dream...

Magical stay in Folegandros and Provalma! Beyond its impressive and friendly Chora, Folegandros is a stunning island of remarkable wild beauty that one must take the time to explore through its many trails.
Provalma is for us the ideal place to traverse the island and savor its beauty at every moment, as it is situated at a height and offers an exceptional panorama of the entire island, the sea, and Chora, regardless of the location of the hotel and the room. The hotel is beautiful, well-kept, very floral, the suites are very comfortable, and the warm welcome from Yiannis and his mother is exceptional! Yiannis kindly took care of reserving a car for us.
Transfers included to and from the port, very appreciated. Hearty and delicious breakfast!

View of All Views

Fantastic stay at this small hotel in Folegandros. The rooms are huge, with lots of sleeping and living space. And they're arranged to take maximum advantage of the view. The breakfasts are generous and served in the room, but otherwise you'll need to eat lunches and dinners off the property. There are a few good options nearby: a hilly walk away. Lots more options in Chora, a lively, charming town. The island is not the easiest to get around, but there's pretty much only one road, so having a car is kind of useless. This place is ideally suited to real relaxation, rather than sight-seeing.

A very comfortable boutique hotel with a superb view and attentive service.

A warm welcome from Yannis, who was waiting for us at the boat, and from his mother, who makes the breakfast pitas. Attentive follow-up from Luis, who will bring breakfast to your room and will be responsive to your requests. A car is essential and will be delivered to the hotel. The 5 suite rooms are very comfortable, with beautiful architecture, attention to detail, individual terraces, and a good-sized shared pool. Finally, a magnificent 360° view. You can hike directly from the hotel on the trails with good shoes; do not miss the short walk along the cliff from Aggali to St. Nicolas beach, also go all the way to the end of the road towards St. Georges beach, and make a quick visit to the historical museum right next to the hotel. Good restaurants (Eva's Garden, To Sik) and a Cycladic atmosphere in Chora. Our 5-night stay was very pleasant.
