Should be 6 Stars ...excellent

I would give Thanos and Sunrise House 6 stars if I could! He is an excellent, caring host. Nothing is too much trouble. The rooms are immaculate and great views from the forward sea facing room. Exceptional value and a great location

Lovely host and excellent location

We stayed on the top floor, sea view. Stunning views across the sea and harbour below. Aliki was very friendly and welcoming, offering us coffee and cake. The room is small and basic but ideally located. 16 steps from the top of the hill where our taxi dropped us off. Although the accommodation is on a fairly steep hill, as it's around two thirds of the way up, it's ideally placed. Plenty of good tavernas within a short walking distance. We will be returning.

Without a doubt, the best hotel I have ever stayed at. BOOK NOW

This is the best hotel we have ever stayed in.
This hotel is in the middle of an gorgeous path of local shops, bakeries and restaurants. There is an amazing cocktail bar (Avocado) that is a minute walk away and a delicious classy restaurant (Kastro) that is a 30 second walk up the path and the castle is right next to the restaurant.
When we first came into the room, we were given two cold drinks and some delicious cake that they had made themselves, we were made to feel very welcome. The room is very comfortable and very clean, there is air conditioning and WiFi for no extra charge, the bathroom was exactly what you would like in a hotel bathroom. The view from the balcony was stunning (We didn’t even have a sea view room but it still offered amazing views of the town and the hills and the neighbourhood where you can watch life pass by relaxing).
The owner and staff were the best hotel staff we have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Helped us get to all the different places we wanted to go to, gave us tips and even called a taxi for us when we left the hotel to go back home. Could not recommend this hotel highly enough, the only problem is that we had to leave to go back home.

Great views, Aliki (Alice) is a lovely lady owner that spoiled us with cheese pie, spinach pie and cake for our trips. Great view of the harbour. You can go to large beach or Valtos beach either side of the castle. Very busy resort. Great restaurant called Perivoli. Excellent kleftiko. We went to Paxos on the blue boat..good trip with cushions to lay on if you get on early (0930am.)

Great location and very friendly hosts

Great location, close to everything (beaches, castle, restaurants, shops...). Clean room, good bed, air conditioned, fridge. Balcony facing the street. The hosts very friendly and kind served us with Greek coffee and home made cake. We will come again for sure.
