Lovely hotel but food not for us

Hotel was lovely and spotless good location a minute from the beach could of done with more sunbeds around pool and terrace area because we could never get one and had to pay 18 euro for 3 beds on the beach which wasn't that expensive and the restaurant was a bit hit and miss food not labelled so didn't know what was eating was luke warm so we ate out quite a few times but apart from that good hotel

Ok for the right price

The mother and I stayed here first week of June, I got a cheap deal thank god because I wouldn't have wanted to pay much more to stay here , so the reception staff were lovley on check in , and the main bar area was on the main strip so great for atmosphere (people watching ) central location this is why I booked . The restaurant was a couple doors down ( the food was hmmm ok) we had something to eat out a couple of times, the room, well the room was modern and clean, beds were comfy but a very small room and the balcony was absolutely tiny and no view could just fit the table and chairs and thats it . If you want a good sleep then this isn't the hotel , I got so annoyed by the doors on closing making a bang ! Its not the people its the doors (main block near entrance ) they just dont shut quietly! Was really starting to pee me off . Anyway the pool and pool bar was over the road by the beach which was gorgeous what a setting ! BUT there was only about 12 sunbeds in total for all guests staying at the hotel which makes no sense so I guess people were waking up at the crack of dawn to just get a sunbed , for us that didnt we had to pay on the beach , so if your all inclusive and on a budget then dont come here unless you wanna get up at the crack or dawn to get a bed and make sure you stay on it or the staff will throw your towel off .
Anyway all in all we had a good stay because of the location and I would return to this hotel again if it was a really cheap deal .

Everything was very nice!

Greece for the first time. It was a great holiday! From the 27th of May to the 4th of June, the weather was only pleasing, the sea is not cold sun is not too active yet, just right! The hotel delights with its warmth and warmth, the staff is English-speaking, pleasant, always help. The food is good. Beach and swimming pool only 20-30 meters from the main building . Very glad to have chosen this particular place to relaxA special thanks to the bartender Arjan for his sociability, beautiful smile and pleasant atmosphere by the pool I can say I would like to come here again.

everything I wanted

Hotel Stalis is the hotel that offers you everything you want from a relaxing vacation: close to the beach, very clean, Cretan food and extremely friendly staff. We return with pleasure every year and are pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the staff here. If you want a wonderful vacation and people you will never forget, I invite you to meet: Eleni, Despina, Arian, Mario and the others whose names I did not remember, but I appreciate them. I highly recommend Hotel Stalis!

Open honest review

Staying here for 10 nights right now
We first got to the hotel stalis at 1 am
So arring shown to our room very clean and went to bed
Following morning we went for breakfast down the road as the food hall was 2 minutes walk
Food was okay much the same most morning you won't starve
The beach is absolutely fabulous
Then comes to sun beds pool don't open till 10am so you have que with 12 beds available say no more ?
Beds on the beach we're 10 euros for 2 which not bad but you shouldn't have to pay for them
Pool shuts at 6pm which was a little frustrating as best part of the is between 6 and 8pm
Evening meal was not to bad I have had 1 evening wear I didn't fancy anything if there are label on the food you would have a better understanding what you were putting on your plate
I didn't use the food hall at lunchtime as breakfast was enough for me they have melon ice cream sandwiches at the pool
The bar was lovely to sit there the barman is in no hurry to serve you as any more laid back he'd be asleep but had dry and sharp attitude which we found funny makes the drinks to our taste
Overal not a bad hotel
Sunbeds issue is stupid you waste hours off your holiday waiting
The area itself is very nice very safe and pleasant plenty of shops supermarket bars restaurants
I recommend chippy's giro bar go left at the hotel entrance opposite Red lion bar about 10 min walk you won't starve and get rip off 10 star rating
Overal still here sitting by pool with a tan temp have been 27 to 30 which is good
Many towns to walk about for shopping bus services available fares along 2 4 euros bus conductor tells tou what stop to get off and to return
Give it go I wouldn't return purely because I like everything in one location
Bed food bar etc
But I having a great holiday
