Great Hotel

Hotel Avra is a very nice and affordable hotel with good service, staff, and rooms.
The breakfast boufet is excellent and has a good price for the quality of food.
The building itself possibly needs a bit of modernising, but it is perfect as it is aswell.
The owners and staff are kind and respectful.
Evidence of this is how they tend to your every need.
Would come again especially because of the location which is near the town center and port.

Simple room

The room was very simple, the heating from the air conditioner was bad, it had to work at 30 to make it a little warm, the bathroom was freezing. The only positive thing was that it was in the center of Volos. The staff was kind

Terrible customer service

The absolute worst customer service ever. I will never recommend this hotel. There was no understanding from management. They were rigid and inflexible with me and utterly rude. Mr. Tzilloglou doesn't know how to deal with people.

Good urban staying

The hotel is located on a street joining the asaeafront, about 50 meters inlnd, and has a partiall view of the sea.
It is located in the center of Volos.
The room was spacious, and with a lot of space for everything.
The breakfast was basic (not contunental), the service is very good (the clerks and treating of the room), and (at least while we stayed) can accomodate free parking in the street.

Friendly staff and in walking distance to the port!!

We stayed here for a night on our way to the islands. This is a small, family run hotel near the port of Vólos. The staff are extremely friendly and always willing to help (very important when travelling with two young kids!!), the hotel is clean and has all basic amenities.
