Home to both Highland Honey with its shop featuring honey, honey products and circular products, and acclaimed restaurant La Colmena Antigua with its unique garden / hive / farm-to-table concept. The reserve offers a unique combination of comfort, privacy and meaningful nature experiences just 15 minutes from Antigua’s historic centre. With abundant bird species, important bat colonies and diverse flora and fauna, the reserve is a living refuge for wildlife and a place for guests to reconnect with nature. Seasonal mountain weather, forest trails and a dramatic erupting-volcano backdrop create abundant opportunities to observe species migrations, animal lifecycles and both day and night wildlife activities in an ethical, low-impact environment. Accommodation includes a range of modern apartments, luxury cabins and a signature designer tiny home — all self-catering and all featuring private balconies or terraces with volcano or forest views. Each unit provides comfortable bedding, hot showers, reliable WiFi and tranquil surroundings ideal for rest, creative work or extended stays.
