Perfect Family Stay Amidst Nature – Best Option in Chakrata
Chakrata’s main attraction, Tiger Waterfall, is around 12 kilometers away, roughly a 45-minute to 1-hour drive from the property.
The owner’s family also stays on-site, and they are extremely warm and helpful. The entire staff is very supportive and polite, making the stay even more comfortable. The views from the property are simply stunning — beautiful hills all around, and a peaceful garden area with a swing and seating where you can relax and soak in nature. They also provide some recreational activities like badminton and carrom, which the kids thoroughly enjoyed.
Just outside the hotel flows a small tributary, and around 1 kilometer away there’s a small waterfall that adds to the serene atmosphere. The surrounding village on the hillside, with very few shops and minimal crowd, gives you a truly natural and peaceful experience.
We had booked a family room which was quite spacious and easily accommodated four people.
The food served at the property was delicious and homely. One suggestion: it’s advisable to place your food orders at least an hour in advance, as fresh preparation takes some time. However, the quality and taste are worth the wait. The only minor drawback was the tea, which could be improved. While the hotel overall is well-maintained, there are a few small areas that could use a bit more upkeep.
An additional highlight for animal lovers — the property also has pet dogs and cats that added charm to the stay.
Overall, it was a wonderful, peaceful, and family-friendly stay. Highly recommended for anyone looking to experience Chakrata’s natural beauty in comfort and serenity.

Horrible location with smelly rooms
Inspite of refusal to refund, I decided not to stay there and spoil holidays.

I again clarify that we have a ‘3 day prior to guests check-in Policy’. To that, he simply said No and asked for a refund instead. To that, I said that I could accept this as a credit note so that whenever he wishes to come in the future he can redeem this amount.
Here his tone changes into some kind of threat that he'll put the worst review.
Sir this is really a sad affair that you didn't even enter Munaal nest and you are demeaning property! We have built this property with our at most efforts and we would continue to do so. It is such a shameful experience for us to come in contact with a person like you.
I wish you a healthy and prosperous mindset. Be kind & honest.

Good place , Good Food
We opted for queen rooms with two sided views - as far as the views were concerned, it was more of parking side , construction side and mountains ofcourse.(Assuming the construction and all is temporary and will soon be done with - but for now those weren't the most promising views as promised !)
The food was excellent, with super duper portion size.They serve it with lots of love and ensure it is served hot! The person who will serve you has a big smile on his face- always ! They were kind enough to pack breakfast for us when requested.
There is practically nothing for kids to do there but their pets keep the kids busy and engaged.
Owners are very helpful, even accompanied us to the sunrise point, helped us plan the sightseeing around.
Its a centrally located hotel, hence easy to see places around.
Rooms are good with all basic amenities,heaters are provided on request -chargeable basis.
Overall, a good place to stay when you are in Chakrata!
