Perfect place for single travelers

I stayed for 2 weeks, the place felt like home in the end.
It has everything you would want.
Breakfast can be as early as 6.45, Ideal if you are going to drive to other areas.
There is no reason why you shouldn’t have the breakfast, a fresh salad with cooked eggs, cheese bacon etc.
A very warm and cosy place to stay, it has a wonderful view of the area from the sitting area upstairs.
I certainly would go back there when the powder is plentiful.
A rental car makes this area easier.

Fantastic Stay for 2 weeks

Romulus Hotel was a great and welcoming stay in Rusutsu. I stayed at Romulus for 2 weeks with my family for the Christmas-New Years period. All of the staff were very welcoming and accommodating for those 2 weeks.
Great breakfasts every morning, pick up and drop-off from the mountain everyday, and had great places to store all our ski equipment which included several drying racks. Would highly recommend to singles, couples and families looking for a place to stay in Rusutsu.
Thank You to Anna, Mikki and Tommo and the others who made the stay so enjoyable!

Comfortable place to stay

Comfortable and clean rooms. Hangers provided to dry your ski gear after a day of skiing. Anna was a great help with all our inquiries and bus connections. Rides to and from the ski area each day. Decent breakfasts each morning too. We all felt right at home staying here. Short walk to restaurants, 10 mins or so. All 4 of us would happily return and stay here!

Great value and accommodating staff

Located 10min walk from main resort. Drop off and pick up service to and from the mountain everyday. Breakfast is good and highly recommend the set menu dinner option at Pirateman. Clean & spacious rooms, would certainly stay again.

A good value accommodation package in Rusutsu

We booked a room for 4 nights last minute at Romulus and had a great stay.
For what you pay this accommodation is good value. We took the 1000 breakfast option each morning which was good as far as breakfasts in Japan go. The hosts Anna, Miki and her husband are lovely and can't do enough to help.
We were given a lift in the mornings and a pick up in the afternoons (it is close enough to walk in snowboard-maybe not ski boots- so we walked back a few days too)
We opted to eat dinner 3 out of the 4 nights at Pirateman which is a restaurant run by the same group as Romulus. This restaurant is definitely worth a visit!
