Good one

Dawei doesn't have many hotels and NO international brands. So among the local standard this one isnt bad. Friendly service. Diverse choice of local foods for breakfast. But the superior rooms are quite small. I stayed in deluxe to be OK :). Recommended based on local standard.

Great location but not utilizing it well.

The rate the hotel charged are comparable to hotel in Yangon but what you get in return are not much.
The room linen sheets are yellowish, smell of smoking room. I have never been to a hotel that doesn't have croissant and milk until now.

Good service but small rooms

The staffs are well understand with customer service and can say best customer service available among hotels in town apart from Hotel Dawei(I don’t have experience staying there).
But rooms are small compared with the price.
But customer service still can attract me to stay there.

Far too expensive

The hotel seems to have had far better days. It's far too expensive for what one gets for his money. The sealing of my shower room was leaking 24/7 but as the hotel was fully booked due to a national holiday I had to use the very same room hearing the water dripping through the night which did not help for a good night sleep.
Curtains not blocking the bright sunshine, therefore they were not fit for peppers.
Nevertheless, If you are after great welcome and extremely helpful staff, Soe Phya Pyar Yoon at the reception will go way and beyond to help and has a far amount of English to go by, which should not be taken lightly in this part of Myanmar (Burma).
The highlight of this hotel, is its breakfast. The restaurant is located on the top floor offering nice view of the city and its green belt. Breakfast include local and Western food. You will be approached with smiley staff who is eager to accommodate.
Tip: to learn your way within the province I recommend Bhon 09762499505 a native to Dawei and very helpful guy.

One of great places to stay in Dawei

The Rooms? Not too big yet too small.
The Services? Very nice.
The Staffs? Friendly.
The Location? Strategic as close the Tanintaryi Regional Government Office.
Next time? Maybe.
I like the breakfast served at the rooftop of the hotel in the morning and the foods were great. Not too far from a nearby shopping mall.
Great times in Dawei at this Diamond Crown Hotel.
