Wonderful stay under excellent hostliness
Nice spacious pitches and lots of play areas for children. Also inside so well prepared for 'big' and 'small' guests.
Highly recommended for us...
And all in a beautiful setting for walking and cycling through forest and heathland.

Not child friendly
Of course, there must be consequences for behavior. But the measure the owner took was completely out of proportion. Instead of engaging in a conversation or looking for a suitable solution together, he presented the school with an incomprehensible choice: either four children go home, or the whole class. It later emerged that the owner had been building up frustrations for years, without ever discussing this with the school. That makes his reaction not only unreasonable, but also irresponsible.
This rigid attitude has deprived four children of an unforgettable experience. My son had been looking forward to this camp for months. What should have been a highlight ended in intense grief for him — something that could easily have been avoided if the owner had been willing to consult and act reasonably.
The owner hardly shows understanding for children, gets frustrated easily and seems incapable of consultation or nuance. It feels like he was never young himself.
For schools or groups with children this stay is absolutely not recommended. The owner sends children home as soon as he does not like something, without consultation, without reason and without any pedagogical insight. This is not how you treat children — or schools.
