a small hotel in the hart of the old town
The hotel is small but right in the middle of the old town, the main bars and square area is just around the corner , there is a bar just out of the back door that it full of memorabilia and open until late but no noise. It is a room only hotel although there are plenty of eating areas in the area. The lovely thing with Almunecar area is in the old town they still do tapas free with every drink .and they always no what you have had ,so a different one every time. Restaurants try Ar bol next to the water park

Horrible
Good location and good treatment from the receptionists, but it is embarrassing to pay almost 100 euros for a night in a room where firstly, on TV you only saw the southern channel, which what an afternoon of bulls we stuck, secondly the sheets were stained by themselves. I had a problem and I stained the sheets a little more, I repeat already dirty. When the cleaning service cleaned the room he made the bed and instead of changing the sheets placed on top of the stain a dress he had on a chair to cover it. If it costs you 50 euros a night I could understand the abandonment but paying almost 100 euros seems embarrassing.

Horrible dark miserable hotel
It is such a dark dingey hotel, it feels grubby as well as ugly, we booked 2 nights but only stayed one and left at the break of dawn , if we’d have booked it for a week it would have been beyond my worst nightmare, we couldn’t really afford to lose a nights money and pay to stay somewhere else but we did and we didn’t regret it, we just want to warn others it could entirely ruin your holiday to be stuck in such a hell hole, I never write bad reviews but we felt so bad thinking others could spend their hard earned money just to have their holiday spoilt. If they called themselves a hostel it would make it somewhat fairer but I’ve stayed in much nicer hostels. The best discription is Depressing dark hole. They show a picture of a white marble building/entrance , it is actually a monument in the square and nothing to do with the hotel, clever deceitful camera work. Please don’t spoil your lovely trip to Spain by booking this place, pay a few euros more and find somewhere else. It took us 2 hours driving around to find the hotel as it’s hidden away and you can’t access it by car , in the end a Spanish taxi driver let us follow him, he actually said to us it wasn’t a nice hotel , I’ll show some pictures of my balcony view and also a couple of the square monument they show in their photos pretending it’s the entrance to the hotel

A nice little hotel - Fantastic location
Just came back from a visit to this nice little hotel in the center of Almunecar. Sure it is small and can be sometimes noisy but you know that beforehand when booking a hotel in the center of a beach town in southern Spain. It is however very friendly and the staff was super helpful and very polite. Great restaurants right outside the hotel and a shopping street very close by.

No se como explicar la experiencia con este hotel ya que fue un completo despropósito, comenzamos con la recepción llegamos al hotel y nos atiende Ines la persona más prepotente y sin ganas de trabajar que he conocido, seguimos con las habitaciones llegamos a las habitaciones que pensábamos que estaban limpias obviamente pues spoiler no!, nos acostamos y nos tuvimos que levantar por que había sangre en la cama y ácaros debajo de las sábanas, bajamos a hablar con Ines y ni si quiera tuvo la decencia de pedirnos disculpas y pasando de lo que la estaba diciendo llama con total prepotencia a la persona que coordina la limpieza en nuestra habitación, llega y pues claro ella simplemente excusándose en qué puede ser y que no se llamada (Monica) poco después como obviamente no queríamos quedarnos en la misma habitación (qué es lo que pretendían) viene la persona que coordina la limpieza del hotel diciéndonos que no hay más triples en el hotel y de repente aparece una 5 min después, pues vaya ya pensando que estaba todo solucionado pues no! La cama llena de pelos y de manchas… pero esto no es lo mejor de todo por la mañana tuvimos que entrar al check in y llegamos antes y obviamente no podíamos entrar por la limpieza hasta las 12 pues resulta que nos cuenta la jefa de limpieza que la habitación lleva 2 días cerrada!!? Desde luego que no se merecen tener en pie un lugar de hospedaje en condiciones tan insalubres
