Exceptional value

We chose this family-run hotel just north of Castellon to break our journey from France to southern Spain. We could not have chosen better. It is close enough to the motorway to be convenient (15 minutes arriving from the north but much less when you set off again to go south). We had a very comfortable bed in a spotlessly clean room, a lovely Mediterranean dinner freshly cooked and the welcome and service from the owners was great. We did not get the opportunity to explore the town and the surrounding countryside but it looks as though it might be worth it, and it is not too far from the coast if you are looking for somewhere accessible to the beach. I have given it lots of 5 stars not because it is luxurious or outstandingly well equipped with gadgets - you could not expect that for the price - but because at the price you would not find better.

Good service, very very quiet

We stayed here as we were going to benicassim music festival. We didn't realise how far away cabanes is from benicassim (35-40) euro in a taxi. the hotel provided a free shuttle bus to festival but only had one journey at 6pm to festival and back at 7am. We got the bus there but most of the big acts were finished by three so we had to get taxis back because we didn't want to wait four hours for the bus! If you're not going to benicassim and want to chill out in a tiny, quiet town for a few days, then La cava is brilliant, lovely staff and very clean! Also, the food was beautiful in hotel and only 12euro for three courses!

Un buen lugar para pasar una noche

Me ha parecido un hotel de negocios, aunque fui en pareja.
La cama cómoda, la televisión grande, el baño, echamos de menos los tapones tanto de la bañera como del bidé, pero suficientemente provisto de jabones y cremas.
Las vistas, al menos desde la habitación que ocupamos, muy relevantes al monte y la piscina municipal, que aparente ser del hotel por la cercanía.
El personal amable pero escaso, el desayuno muy bien y amablemente servido zumo café tostadas, etc...

Correcto

Es un hotel grande pero vacío sin alma,nos alojamos con un bono de dacotabox lo elegimos porque era el más cercano a donde íbamos,no es acogedor,el agua del grifo es sal pura, y eso se nota también en el café,tamaño habitación bien ,en el baño no hay escobilla,horario de desayuno muy tarde empieza a las 9 ,para mi gusto le falta incorporar una fruta,al personal solo lo ves en el desayuno,durante el resto de jornada no hay nadie ,es como un hotel fantasma,

Muy sucio

Pese que el hotel bastante nuevo, al entrar tienes que llamar al restaurante del hotel por un interfono para que te atiendan, por la noche en recepción no había nadie y para entrar había un portero automático, en el que tenías de poner cinco números que además los tenían puestos en la pared del edificio como si se tratara de un número de móvil “Es la primera vez que lo he visto en un hotel”, el desayuno es muy pobre "continental". La limpieza de las habitaciones es lamentable, no vacían la papelera, el desagüe del lavabo y la ducha están obstruidos, el suelo de los laterales de la mampara de la ducha está llenos de suciedad. Tenía aire acondicionado la habitación, pero no funcionaba. ¡Y en la habitación hacia calor!
¡No se lo recomiendo a nadie!
