Worth visiting during summer

I think the best time to visit this property is April-October.During outside season there are not many properties open, but Marakasa is a place where you will find the door open.However there are some small parts that needs to be improved:
->there is a very strong smell of Chlorine in the bathroom
->heating system doesn't work well so you'll need to start the AC which will make the air too dry
Fortunately there are more good parts for this accommodation:
->the owners are really friendly and helpful
->the breakfast is great
->the sea is really close
->this seems like a hidden gem so nobody will bother you here

Soo nice!!! Wanna live there. Forever.

Almost dont wanna write this because we wanna keep it to ourselves!!! It is a hidden gem in costa brava. The town itself is kinda sleepy but so nice to be out from the big city of Barcelona.
The place, we got a big room with a bedroom, livingroom and a bathroom. There was also a common kitchen so you could cook and storage food if you needed to.
The best thing was the place, with plants and cosyness, a dog, a cat and the two lovely ladies who made us breakfast in their commonroom. Not many hotels for sure would do that. So glad we found it!!

Marakasa B&B perfect

Stayed for three nights in late March 2016, the Marakasa has loads of character and the owners make you so welcome. Comfy rooms and great location, as for the breakfast 10/10 without hesitation. This is a little gem...

Wish I'd visited in better weather

This is one of those places that stick to your mind. Unfortunatly I visited in January, out of season, however I loved the B close to the beach, lovely decorated, especially the living room, where the ladies of the house serve you a really nice, home made breakfast. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitly go there.

You feel at home

This is a nice house and the owners make you feel at home. You can use the little kitchen they provide for guests, you have breakfast on their lounge, you can pet the dogs that are friendly and not at all "abusive" :-)
There are plants everywhere you look!
Supermarket, beach promenade and city of Calonge are all very close.
