Wonderful, friendly place to stay

We chose the Hotel Cal Llop based on some recommendations online. We couldn't be happier that we went here! The location is amazing, right in the heart of Priorat and the accommodations and breakfast were excellent. Our time there in March was a bit chilly, but we had a great visit. Gratallops is very small (I think 210 people live there?) but we found great places to eat for both lunch and dinner (at Cristina's recommendation). We had interacted with both Emma and Cristina and both were super friendly, very helpful with recommendations and assisting contacts. This is just an amazing, wonderful place to stay!! Highly recommended!

Output to disconnect

We have spent 4 days, 3 nights and we have no complaints whatsoever. The owner, Cristina, charming and willing to solve any doubt or problem, the Super Nice room, we would define in a nutshell what a Charming Hotel. If we can repeat. Thank you.

Very friendly and very high standard hotel.

Outstanding small and really welcoming hotel by Cristina. Just called in on a cycling trip and everything was possible. My bike was stored inside the hotel, the rooms and public areas are excellent and really well appointed and there is a honesty bar too which is amazing in this day and age. I will return probably with my mum so she can experience the area. Breakfast was excellent if simple and plenty coffee was available too. Nothing to complain about at all in anyway.

Update your information, no restaurant, no bar

The room is fine, but Hotels.com advertises it to have a bar and restaurant. That's not true! The place closes at 9:00, you can enter with a key card, the restaurant has been closed for 2 years. Maybe you should update your information on Hotels.com! Had we known that there was no restaurant or bar in the hotel itself, we would not have booked a room because we arrived late and were tired!

Not to come back

Weekend in cal llop at 145 euros night, room "duplex" to say something, useless wifi, night lamp that does not work, small terrace that has nothing to do with what they publish on the web, breakfast for two ridiculous and slow service. Not advisable.
