Not even stayed the night yet and I’m writing this!
Honestly, never been one that’s been overly bothered about a pristine hotel as always say it’s just somewhere to sleep…however, I am here solo with my little boy to celebrate his birthday. On arrival, our room wasn’t ready which was fine, there was a space for me to leave my case and I was given my all inclusive band and that was it. No information about where restaurant etc was, or when room would be ready etc. I came back before 3pm (managed to find lunch etc myself!) and was given my room key and a map of the hotel and to go to the lift behind the pool bar…..when I asked the (absolute gents I must add!) men behind the bar they looked at me as if there was a communication break down and went to get a staff member with the best English, they then advised me that there was no lift. There wasn’t a chance I could leave a baby in a stroller at either end of a stair case while I got our case upstairs, so I went back to reception to ask about the lift situation, and if there was any chance I could have a ground floor room. The man behind the desk (who had greeted me on arrival and gave no info) blankly said no other room was available, and no offer to help. Part of me understands as who would want to help lift luggage upstairs in the height of summer! However, a lovely lady (and disappointing I didn’t catch her name!) she came and took my case up the stairs for me and helped (honestly what a woman!). On arrival to the room I was ready for the expected standard / dated style etc reviews I had already read, but the room really took the biscuit! The furniture is on its last legs (the living room table physically as the 4th leg is half on half off!) but at sight the room is clean, fresh towling etc but the floor is filthy! It’s clearly been a standard swipe of the floor, my socks have picked up most of the dirt! I then went into the bedroom which has really irked me the most, one of the bedding albeit fresh made etc is noticeably marked (not complaining as won’t be using it), but was when the window and curtains were hanging outside of the room, I was intrigued to see the view, in which I found basically the designated smoking room and rubbish bin from prior guests! I can understand that this is not the hotels doing, but surely they have a standard and responsible to clean that for future guests? An eyesore to say the least! The thought of not only me having to sleep in there but my child and also the bathroom, really not sure what a bath and toilet could have piles of grout to be covering?!) I have contacted love holidays as that’s who I am booked with but conveniently they can’t get a hold of the hotel reception (despite them advertising in their check in leaflet and verbally informing me that they are 24 hours, and I can confirm someone is sat at the desk as I write this review (less than half a hour from when they were uncontactable and presumed closed for the day?!) I won’t hold my breath on the refund and will just have to fork out already hard earned cash on anywhere better!

Please don’t be disappointed like me and have the same mindset of it’s just a base etc! And if you are travelling with a buggy etc be prepared for the workout! There is no real safe way in and out! It’s either lift or bump stairs, or hold on for dear life for the steepest ramp and then when out on street prepare for the left upright climb, or right downhill death trap! Albeit the hotel didn’t build the hill/ road etc so I’ll lay off them on that!
Do had to say though, their pool itself is fab! Great depth for a children’s pool, and the main pool is one depth and actually deep (I love a real “deep end” of a pool!)

Not great
The rooms are nothing like what’s advertised. Mouldy bathroom due to no fan or window. Extremely dated and not cleaned very well. The pool is grubby. The entertainment is non existent.
The food and staff are ok to be fair.
Would not stay here again

Not great
Extremely dated rooms with mould all over bathroom due to no windows or fan in them.
Pool is not great at all.
The entertainment is awful and does not start till 10pm…. Worst I’ve seen.
The food is ok to be fair definitely edible but not much choice. The staff are friendly enough but the whole place lacks any holiday atmosphere/vibe.
It is in good location but I wouldn’t stay again

Very good for the money
I was really nervous to stay here due to being used to 5 star hotels and seeing some negative reviews however I am completely shocked. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Bellevue Aquarius. The rooms were clean a bit outdated and in need of a refurb but the beds were comfy. The only major issue with the rooms is if you are on level 4 or 5 it is quite a walk to your room and involved a lot of stairs. Also, the keycards were very faulty to the point we had to go to reception on a daily basis sometimes twice a day to get them sorted. The pool area is your average blue sunbeds vibe. The pool itself is nice and quite deep. There are many many many missing and loose tiles on the pool and it needs a good refurb however it doesn’t really cause a issue because you can’t touch the floor anyway and the pool itself
Is still lovely. The food is really nice. It’s nothing fancy but it’s all tasty. When eating you get a drink bought to you and it is a buffet style. They switch up the hot options on a daily basis but have chicken nuggets burgers hotdogs and chips for those picky eaters. The staff are very lovely and attentive and can’t do any more for you. They are all very talkative and kind. The only negative things about the all inclusive is snacks are not included and the cocktails come from a vending machine they are still nice it would just be nice to have frozen ones. Also, on our last day we weren’t flying home until 19:30 and when we checked out at 12 you have to have your wrist band cut off and then you have to pay for your drinks until you leave we were allowed to have dinner but not and drinks. If you come to the hotel on your first day early you are not allowed the last dinner to be included only breakfast. We arrived at 00:30 which is why we were allowed dinner.
The entertainment has room for improvement however I do believe they are probably doing their best with the budget they’ve got. The breakfast is served 8-10 dinner 1-3 and tea is 7-9. Drinks are 10-11. The hotel also has self catering facilities in the rooms which consists of pots pans cutlery a stove top a toaster a microwave and an oven and mugs and glasses. The beach is a 10 minute walk away so are the shops and pubs there are a few pubs a bit closer to the hotel aswell. Overall the experience at this hotel was very good and I will definitely be returning. It is a good price it just needs a good refurb.

ROBBED DURING OUR STAY – DO NOT GO!
I already wrote a review back in August 2025, right after our stay ended—but I feel the need to write again so more people actually see this and think twice before ever booking this place.
My boyfriend and I stayed three nights at Hotel Bellevue, and during that time, our room was broken into and we were robbed. A laptop, a phone, and several personal belongings were stolen. We had our suitcases packed and nearly prepared for departure that day—but when we returned to the room, everything was completely torn apart. Our belongings were thrown all over the room, suitcases left open, exactly like in the photos I’m attaching. Im even posting a police record to believe.
And the response from the hotel? They told us there are no cameras. Supposedly there was security—but of course, they “didn’t see anything.” Right… so I guess a fairy came in and robbed us.
The condition of the hotel itself is unacceptable. The rooms are dirty, there are cockroaches literally everywhere, and the pool is broken. There are also stairs everywhere, so you have to carry heavy luggage up and down with no assistance. The hotel is open toward the harbor, right next to a nightclub, and there is absolutely no real control over who comes in and out. Anyone can just walk in.
To make things even more absurd? Even my raspberries disappeared from the fridge. Apparently, the thief was hungry too.
We strongly suspect it may have been the cleaning staff. I repeatedly told them I did not want housekeeping, yet they kept entering the room anyway. The cleaner saw exactly where my backpack and valuables were every single day, and we later found many reviews from other guests suggesting similar experiences.
I am writing this again so people are aware. Please, be cautious and do not stay here. It is not safe, and the hotel clearly does not take any responsibility for what happens to its guests.
