Great location but average experience
However that was about all the positives I can give. The WiFi didn’t work in the room & the aircon was pathetically weak. We got a terrible nights sleep as the room was too warm.
Why didn’t we complain? Well there was nobody there to complain to! After settling into our room & having a cup of coffee we found the entire hotel empty. Restaurant locked up, reception locked up - even the main gate giving access into the hotel locked. There were no other guests staying there. When we left the next morning we locked the main gate behind us and put the keys in a post box. Don’t know if that was the right thing to do because the hotel had given us zero instructions on what the checkout procedure was.
Quite bizarre!

Excellent value
Out the door and through the courtyard and your in the castle and parking is right outside the hotel.
130kms from Madrid airport easy journey and about 8€ tolls so make sure you have change.
