Fully recommended experience in Plan

Hotel with a special charm, especially for its silence and decoration. With all the comforts, spacious rooms, cozy dining room and a delicious breakfast. The owners were attentive to our needs and were very friendly. 100% recommended

Disappointing

We booked this hotel as a part of the Smartbox experience which was our wedding gift. Having received the confirmation, we were sure it was going to be perfect. Unfortunately the weekend turned out to be a 'puente de Pilar' and once we entered the hotel, we were told that our reservation hadn't reached them!
Obviously the hotel was full, so it was clear for us that they preferred to charge someone more money for the room we had booked. The did offer an alternative - a room in someone´s house which we had to accept as there was no other option.
We called Smartbox after that but they also did absolutely nothing about it.

Sentimos mucho vuestra mala experiencia con nuestro Hotel. No puedo recordar exactamente que es lo que ocurrió con vuestra reserva, pero lo que sí os puedo asegurar es que jamás venderíamos a otra persona una habitación reservada por poder cobrarle un precio superior. No es nuestra forma de actuar y nunca esa diferencia de precio podría compensar el mal rato que supone tener un overbooking. Además respetamos por igual a todos nuestros clientes, paguen lo que paguen y por supuesto, si alguna vez ha ocurrido esto, buscamos la mejor alternativa que esté a nuestro alcance.

Authentic friendly, wonderfully located.

Not very succesful in finding a hotel for the night, eventually I meet a group of local motorcyclists at a petrol station. They advise to head for the village Plan. It's close, just 10 km, over a narrow mountainous road with pitch-black tunnels. Plan does not disappoint. There are multiple hotels and Casa Rafeleta has room available. A lucky choice!
The hotel is exactly what you hope to find when you walk into an unknown hotel. An old - but well renovated - building, straightforward rooms but done with taste and proper materials; and above all clean.
The hotel hasn't got its own restaurant, so in that sense it's more like a bed and breakfast. But the guesthouse opposite has a bar and just downhill there are restaurants.
Oooh... Plan is a charming village with great views and plenty of hiking opportunities.

Priceless jewel in the pyrenees

We were driving from Lourdes to Barcelona and found this little jewel of a hotel (really a B&B) at the bottom of the Spanish side of the Pyrenees. The town is tiny and tucked away, you'll need to have a GPS to find it. But once you do, you won't regret your stay.
The owners were very friendly and helpful. The room was an absolute delight. The breakfast was delicious. We came in the off season and the price was more than reasonable. Free parking and free wifi internet access.
This was our first visit. We'd love to come again. Highly, highly, highly recommended. A great retreat away from the big cities.
