Perfect location , perfect Hotel

Perfect for the Camino travellers ! This was our first stop for the last stage of the Camino de Santiago .
I’d read some bad reviews and was a bit nervous but it was totally unnecessary as the room was spotless , the staff were lovely and welcoming and the beds were really comfortable. Just shows you shouldn’t always believe what you read !

My room was clean. The mini-fridge in the room needs to be serviced; it barely kept anything inside cool. The front desk in the early morning was grumpy, rude, and argumentative, when asked for assistance. He was cursing in Spanish under his breath as he walked away. He just assumed I didn't understand. The young female during the day was very helpful and kind.

To avoid on the way to Santiago

Very expensive room with an electrical outlet near the bed that did not work. Pool not accessible even though it was July 1st and we chose this hotel for the pool... and I was told that I could just go to the municipal pool! 20-minute wait at the reception. Unfriendly cafeteria staff. Breakfast not replenished (no scrambled eggs, bacon, etc. even though it was only 7:45 in the morning). Absolutely not worth the 4 stars mentioned. The hotel the night before, which was only 2 stars, was significantly better.

It meets expectations, simply.

It is not a 4-star hotel; it meets the criteria, yes, it is comfortable, clean, yes! Large rooms, simple and comfortable beds, but the room smells like octopus. Do not expect a complimentary bottle of water upon arrival, much less any accessories in the bathroom, just a low-quality multi-use liquid soap in the shower. The breakfast is deplorable and not suitable for a hotel of that category, with very little variety, and they should tell the morning staff to be more friendly with the guests. The restaurant food looked basic, and the place was gloomy. The reception and cleaning staff were very friendly. It is a 3-star hotel with potential and many possibilities to become a 4-star if they work on the weak aspects.

Well located. Good breakfast. Rooms need remodeling. The restaurant has 3 stars.
