Excellent

Fabulous one night stay on route to an early flight from Heathrow. Gorgeous, spacious room. Staff all helpful and friendly. Special mention to Issac and Rachel in the restaurant who were both charming, efficient and friendly, couldn’t ask for more.

Aircon in room was broken, had been for days. Person on reception (afternoon) totally unhelpful and untruthful. Said they had tried to contact guests about aircon, said it was all rooms and said no rooms available to swap to.
1 - we had contacted hotel twice in lead up to visit to arrange early check-in, no mention of aircon issue - one of those contacts was morning of visit where we spoke to reception
2 - spoke to other guests, who had aircon
3 - on return to hotel after day out room remained unbearably hot, we asked again at reception, lady far more helpful, and voila, a new room that had working aircon

Very convenient location, right front of the station. Front is always staffed and provides sense of security especially at late hours. Interior has been renovated and look new, good amount of amenity. Bed was comfortable and shower ran smooth, and bathroom was big. Overall it was good value.

Great property to stay in, had no issues at all and would recommend to anyone, especially those travelling on business to the area.

We have no parking facilities on site and directly outside the hotel there are double red lines which means we do not have a drop off/pick up area for luggage. Before parking in one the recommended car parks below, the best place to park to drop off safely is the Reading Station Short Stay Car Park which is free for 20 minutes and is located opposite the hotel. When traveling with a dog, please note that an extra charge of £25 for 1 dog or £40 for maximum 2 dogs, per night applies. Dogs are allowed in designated guest rooms-please notify the hotel in advance. The Breakfast inclusive rates include a Full-cooked breakfast and Dinner inclusive rates includes 2 courses from our seasonal menu and a side dish . Supplements apply to certain items. Inclusions only apply for adults. Children’s Breakfast is not included in the advertised rates and the charges are as follows directly to the hotel: 0-4 years old – Breakfast Complimentary/5- 11 years old – Breakfast charged at 50% full price/ 12 and over breakfast charged at full adult price.
