Wonderful place

It is a beautiful place, vast in nature. Our accommodation was spacious, clean, and welcoming. Then the river view was breathtaking! If I may offer a suggestion, the restaurant service is very disorganized, although I must say that we ate very well. The room that accommodates large tables with many people keeps the waiters busy, who can no longer attend to the smaller tables due to the excessive workload.

Beautiful stay!

Beautiful place to stay! I loved all the things this room had to offer that other hotels do not! Like drinking water, housekeeping every day! Also a spacious room. And I outdoor yard plus balcony! I got to pet a horse that walked up to the yard! Planning to return !

Nothing special. Not worth the money. I won't be coming back.

I was disappointed to learn that the two-bedroom riverside cabin I reserved was unavailable when I checked in. I appreciated the discount I was given to downgrade to a king riverside room. The gentleman that checked me in was incredibly professional, courteous and friendly; that guy deserves a raise without question. The room I was given was clean and the view was excellent. The TV worked intermittently (maintenance had to come reset the box at one point) and the quality of sound from the low-quality TV is horrible. The ceiling fan constantly squeaked and wobbled regardless of speed or direction. The control for the electric window blinds is wired wrong (the down button raises the blinds and vice versa.) The incredibly inconsistent service at the restaurant bar was excellent on Sunday evening, but very poor on Saturday evening. After being told at checkin that the pet fee would be waived for my dog, I received an updated bill hours after checkout with the pet fee reinstated; I had to call to get that reversed. In retrospect, I'm grateful for the downgraded room with the discounted rate; if I had paid the full amount for the cabin I originally reserved I would have been very unsatisfied with my stay. Given the discounted rate for the downgraded room, I consider my stay acceptable but, overall, definitely not exceptional. Compared to the Hilton Hoodoo (where I usually stay when I'm in Moab) this property isn't anywhere close to Hoodoo's level of quality, comfort, style and excellent bar/restaurant service.

Broken Site-Wide A/C!

A beautiful hotel on the Colorado River. Food at the on-site restaurant was very good, although over-priced ($74 for a steak?!) The biggest issue was that the A/C unit in our room was not functioning in 90+ degree weather. It was "on," and seemed to provide a little cool air, but by the time we realized it was not working at all, it was late at night and we didn't want to request a room change. Early the next morning, the power to the entire site went out. No information was provided to guests as to when it might come back on. Generators came on for the restaurant and lobby, but the rooms hit sweltering pretty quickly. We were only booked for one night, but wondered what happened for those staying an additional day, in such a remote spot... Further, when I tried to respond to Marriott's standard email requesting feedback, the survey site was non-operational. I feel we should be given some sort of credit or refund for the inconvenience (that was never acknowledged in any way, via phone, text, or email, either during or after.)

We did have a microwave during our first day but when I requested for one, they provided it to us right away. The hotel was clean and has a very nice view. Restaurant has good food and great costumer service.
