Terrace overlooking the sea

We booked this room for two nights facing the sea. Upon our arrival in Himare we had difficulty finding it as some time ago Billy was also a restaurant which, having closed the latter business, is not on google maps, I recommend setting Akacia Beach Bar in your navigator and the accommodation is located exactly in front ( Billy Bar sign)
The owner does not speak Italian, and barely speaks English, we communicated through an Italian-Albanian translator.
Very nice new room, with terrace with a breathtaking view of the crystal clear sea.
The first night in this room there was no top sheet in the bed so we made do with beach towels, the following day when requesting a sheet the owner informed us that they had had problems with the water draining in the our room, then moved us to the next room (moving our bags, and placing our things as they were in the previous room)
Excellent location 700m from the center where there are restaurants and clubs, distributors, markets and restaurants and the beach under the house but we spent a while looking for more tranquility.
There is no parking but it is available under the house at tactical times (for example when people go away from the sea). The owner also accepted Lek by giving us a small discount between euro/Lek because we didn't have the right cash.
Himare is the most beautiful place we have visited for price quality.

Not recommended

Very bad experience,
The room conditions leave a lot to be desired:
the cleanliness needs to be reviewed
No Wi-Fi
No lounge chairs on the beach
No kettle, no glasses....
Plus, there is no one to ask....

Good for 1 or 2 nights

It faces the main avenue, but it is all very old and unopened to the public, it seems abandoned, you have to park badly, and look inside for something that is obsolete, old and abandoned.
You go upstairs and there it is.
It's new, nice and clean.
But it's a bit messy looking for him. Cash payment. No receipt......front of the beach, with side views. Surrounded by restaurants, bars and drinking spots.

I was harassed in the street by Billy (the owner) after writing an honest 2-star review on Google Maps

The other day I had a bad experience at this restaurant and wrote an honest review on Google maps. Today, I walked past the restaurant and Billy, the owner, was standing on the street where I passed and started shouting at me, “wow, thanks for 2 stars!” I asked if he was seriously shouting at an unhappy customer instead of dealing with it, and he said “don’t worry, I got my best friends to write me 5-star reviews” which brought his star-rating up again. Fake place, mean owner, really disappointing.
I’m kind of nervous to walk past his restaurant again now, but I think this needs to be reported.

Good bruschetta

Good food, we had pasta it was well cooked. Nice waiter and an inviting terrace with an olive tree and a view over the sea. The bruschetta we had as starter was prima as well as the watermelon and cherries we got as a treat. The house wine was good as well.
