Goated hostel

Hostel was that good and friendly we ended up cancelling our flights to stay longer. There's plenty to do around the city and the workers make booking stuff very easy. Most of all the beer is unreal and only €1.50

The hostel was underwhelming. I stayed with friends on two nights, one before the Valbona-Theth hike and one after. The dorm rooms we stayed in were quite small and the bunk beds were very rocky and felt unsafe. The bathrooms in both the rooms we stayed in were small, unclean and had no ventilation, resulting in a damp smell. The primary reason we chose the hostel was for the assistance they offer in organising the hike and accomodation at guesthouses, however we realised if we had done more research we could have arranged this ourselves and probably found cheaper options. We organised our own accomodation in Theth because there was no availability at the Wanderers guesthouses, and it worked out cheaper than what the Wanderers had quoted.
In saying that, the staff were helpful and friendly and the aircon in the rooms was good, as was the provided breakfast.

Great hostel.

We spent one night here our first night in Albania. The owner was great at communicating with me in South Africa before we left home and he booked all our bus and ferry tickets for the alps. He also helped us arrange a rental car. The staff are extremely helpful and friendly. The family room was clean and quiet. We could leave our luggage here when we went to the alps and our rental car was delivered there when we returned from theth. Great location in the center of town.

Friendly hostel, bikes easy to hire. Would go elsewhere for breakfast!

The hostel was clean and friendly, and we could tell it would provide a good opportunity to meet other solo travellers. It was good to be able to rent bikes for a small price however there was only one helmet available which wasn’t particularly safety conscious.
However, the breakfast wasn’t particularly appealing and I would enc. We also originally made a booking for 3 people, with three separate beds. When I asked if we could increase this to a room to suit 4 people, they simply increased the cost and assumed the fourth person would be comfortable to share the double bed and did not provide us with another separate bed.
