We are well welcomed by the Bruce family, checkin was smooth, all indoor facilities are well maintained, center of the town, near everything.

Old fashioned comfort and excellent hospitality
We were in Unit 6 - a 2 bed with water views. The building and contents were a little tired, but from start to finish the welcome and hospitality was first rate.
The unit has a large shady front deck with furniture and BBQ. The small kitchen is well equipped and there is cleaning supplies. There is a washing machine in the unit and a line to dry clothes (no dryer). Very powerful shower. The queen bed is super comfy - had a great sleep listening to the birds. Wifi was great.
Before arriving we had a useful email on things to do. On arrival we were greeted at the unit with a warm welcome and lost of info. Whilst there the gas ran out and they came and changed the bottle within 5 mins. We were also given a large platter of cheese/ham/fruit etc - what a great touch!
Mallacoota is small but there are two shops for food supplies, a few cafes for coffee, a lovely bakery and a couple of restaurants. Quite a few places only open on certain days so be sure to check.
Mallacoota is in the middle of a NP and a world heritage biopshere - its very peaceful with many beach and bush walks. You need a car! We really enjoyed our stay.

Comfortable, cozy and kind. Really great experience for my kids and us.
