Stay away! Dirty and smelly

This place was disgusting! Nothing like the photos, dirty and smelly, chewed gum in the tea/sugar, electric wires from bed light taped up, stained pillows, light switches don’t work, broken air con, dirty smudges on mirror, dirty chipped walls sticky floors, and the security gates to the complex were broken. We were also kept awake by a cricket in the kitchen felt like we were camping in a swamp!

Utter Filth and treated like crap by management

Strap in. I'm sorry this will take a minute. NOT GREAT. I booked thru Qantas in a supposed 4 stars ( I'm inferring that their quality control is not vetting properties suitably) The point of contact was snotty that I'd called during business/ check out/in hours. Apparently 0930-1600, but actually 1000-1400 if they bother.....The Qantas site states that there is Luggage Storage. NOT the case, When I called at 1100 to ask if this was possible I was told it was Illegal to store bags onsite before we had checked in. When I returned at 1430 to check in, I was told over the phone that I would receive a text with instructions and they hung up.
Text sent - no problem there. Rude but to the point.
The room had a blind that was broken so people could see into the kitchen and a window that would not lock, Ac wasn't responding to the remote, Glasses & coffee cups weren't clean, mirror in the bathroom was streaky, water damaged cupboards, chipped paint in all rooms, worn carpet AND the thru bolt for the front door was missing, and there was no lock for the screen door on ground level in the bedroom as well as Weird spiky debris in the bed sheets. This is $260 pn for a room with NO wifi and no security. The gate for cars was not locking and the picture for the website does NOT match the architecture. Curious side note - the website links for rooms sends you to a website that promotes jets holidays.
The property is old and mismanaged. Absolute S***hole is the only words I have.
I'm taking no prisoners - my experience was not restful & a complete waste of money

Sticky to walk on kitchen floor
Fridge door seal broken that did not allow to shut
Clothes dryer control knob broken, had to use pliers
Bathroom exhaust fan broken
Overall run down and needs work

We asked for a single bed to be added to the room, which it was. However, it was placed directly in front of the air conditioner which needed to be on as it was very warm on both days of our stay. It was the only air conditioner and there was nothing in the bedroom.
In the bathroom there was only 1 roll of toilet paper supplied which did not last 2 days.
The grout between the tiles in the shower needed a good scrub to remove mould.
The plug for the kitchen sink did not fit the plug hole.
The door handle to the balcony was loose.
The carpet in the lounge room had not been vacuumed properly and was evident when I moved the single bed.
Generally, the room was very tired and neglected.
The hotel was supposed to be manned from 10.00 AM but on both days there was nobody there at 10.00.
