Warm, homely and quaint

Tracey was a wonderful host and kept a room for us as our caravan needed repairs. The accommodation is really lovely our room was very clean and well maintained. The shower and spa were a delight as the weather was very frosty. Beautifully furnished with such a homely feel. Secure parking out back, outdoor pool and spa and pool table.
Just a really nice place to spend a few days.

Booking cancelled -- Need an explanation!

Booked a room in Aug 2025 for Nov 08-09, 4 Ladies sharing, Tracey said it would be a 1 B'rm with 1 Q, 1 S & 2 Conv Lounges for $185. We are currently overseas & one of the Ladies had a call to say the Booking has been cancelled!!
What is going on ?? Booking was confirmed and now cancelled.
Unable to make contact with the Motel on their web page.
Need an explanation!

The perfect accomodation for you and your pets

We have never been to Tara before and booked over the phone. We were a bit dubious because we had never been before, but thought it would be a good spot while looking for land. Tracy was fantastic, showed us around and gave us a choice of units to choose from. The units were lovely and clean with everything we needed, lovely kitchen with everything you need, comfortable lounge and dinning area, bedrooms were individually styled and unique. The only problem I had was the dog. I have never met such a polite and beautiful husky, but as a dog owner being told not to feed him was really, really hard. he came in the unit for a visit and he has the most beautiful begging face. it was the hardest thing to not give him a treat. He made it feel like home.
Thank you for a lovely stay Tracy we truely enjoyed our stay and will be back. Bless your heart for looking after people displaced in the recent fires, and allowing pets in your home. I spoke to a couple of people staying and it was a life saver for them after loosing everything to still be able to keep their furry family together.

Luxury is not the word

We stayed in the family apartment. Room 2 I believe. The beds were comfortable. Linen clean. The unit appeared clean until we looked in the draws at the mouse poo. There is a spa in the room and plenty of hot water. If you want to cook for a family take a fry pan. One old pan and one saucepan insufficient for our needs. We planned to bbq by the pool. I will include pics of rusty bbq and the dirty table dust covered spa tub etc. Pool was full of leaves. I think this place would have been great 10 years ago but in desperate need of an update.

Country Comfort to relax and unwind

We had a one bedroom apartment with a Queen and single bed in it. The bed was comfy and room had it own air conditioner/heater. The bathroom has an amazing spa and plenty of hot water. The Kitchen and living area had everything needed if you want to cook or relax to watch TV. There is a pretty little garden outside and a beer garden. There were lots of little homely touches around the place to make you feel right at home.
