Opened in May 2014, the MSC Hotel is just a 2-minute drive or 10-minute walk from the centre of Neunkirchen. It offers free WiFi, free private parking, and a 24-hour check-in. The S6 motorway can be reached in a 5-minute drive.

Rewelacja za niską cenę
Hotel blisko trasy, tańszy niż okoliczne obiekty. Nowoczesny, samoobsługowy. Pokoje czyste, okna tłumią hałas, są rolety zewnętrzne oraz zasłony zaciemniające. Bezpłatny parking. Śniadania obfite i pyszne! Z możliwością zabrania kawy na wynos. Brak czajnika do kawy czy herbaty w pokoju. Obok hotelu restauracja z meksykańskim jedzonkiem i lokalnym piwem. Jest też mc donald.

I slept with Marilyn
I did not think I would ever book a hotel in Neunkirchen of all places, but as I attended a wedding there last weekend and did not want to drive back to Vienna late at night, I chose this hotel from the list of local hotels the bride recommended. I liked my spacious room, called "Marilyn Monroe" (with portrait of MM above the bed) enjoyed the breakfast (both bedrooms and the breakfast room are located on the third floor of the building) and was happy we could check in earlier to get changed for the wedding. It was not exactly cheap, but the rate was decent. I disliked the "anonymous" atmosphere with virtually no staff in sight. There is a check-in machine (make sure not to confuse the booking code of e.g. Booking.com with the check-in code you need for the machine) that was out of paper when I checked in so missed the important information of which room I was staying in that my friend who checked in before me got on his printed confirmation. Thankfully, there was a member of staff around who kindly checked in her tablet, otherwise I would have had to try all doors. I would not choose this hotel for a romantic weekend, but it was clean and o.k. (with strong WiFi) for a short stay in the area.

Clean, Inexpensive (but Impersonal) Hotel
One's experience of this hotel is highly dependent on what one wants from a hotel. For me, I'm looking for a clean, comfortable, inexpensive place to sleep. The MSC Hotel perfectly provides that. For those looking for a warm welcome at reception (or recommendations for exploring the area), this is definitely the wrong place to choose because reception does not exist, replaced by a self-service machine that stands outside the main entrance to the building.
Pros: Clean, new, trendy rooms with excellent air conditioning. Standard German/Austrian breakfast with breads, cheese, cold cuts, hard-boiled eggs, yogurt, fruit, vegetables, and Muesli. Close to the main highway. The hotel and the area around it feels very safe. Whoever handles reservations (wherever she is) is helpful; I booked two rooms and had to change my reservation; I changed only one room, not realizing I had separate reservation numbers for each room. I was contacted to see if I meant to change the other room, too -- that is much appreciated!
Cons: No reception. Property only has staff in mornings (breakfast person who may or may not also be the cleaning person). Free Wi-Fi was a little persnickety at times -- it required patience when it did not want to load certain webpages.
Also worth noting on the positive side: There is a nearby bike/pedestrian path that allows one to walk to the very picturesque Peterskirche in Ternitz in about 15-20 minutes, with beautiful rural/mountain views along the way. Directions: take the sidewalk next to the MSC Hotel entrance around to the front of the OBI store, cross the street at the crosswalk, walk toward the highway that connects Ternitz & Neunkirchen until the sidewalk dead ends at the parking lot for an apartment complex, walk through the parking lot to it's far corner, and then go through the little gait there to enter the bike/pedestrian path.

Zimmer ok, aber Klo wird nicht geputzt
Der Schlüsselautomat vor der Eingangstür ist eine Katastrophe, vor allem dann, wenn man 1000 Sachen in der Hand hält und blöd an dem Automaten herumdrücken muss. Sehr lästig.
Das WC hat länger keinen Putzlappen mehr gesehen. Das Klo mit vielen Urinrückständen und Haaren unter dem WC-Sitz und leider auch Haare auf der Matratze. Daraufhin Wechsel in ein anderes Zimmer. Leider dort das Gleiche. Das Klo wird einfach nicht geputzt!!! Grauenhaft. Ich will echt niemandem etwas Böses. Ich würde mir wünschen, wenn man der Reinigungskraft noch Chancen gibt. Aber man muss es ihr/ihm einfach sagen.
Das Zimmer ist sonst total in Ordnung. Neue Möbel, Klima. Matratze ok. Ruhig, wenn das Fenster zu ist. Eventuell mal den Duschkopf auswechseln.

Bezosobowy hotel, za to zupełnie bezproblemowy
Zameldowanie przez automat działało bez problemu.
Internet w pokoju działał bardzo dobrze. Pokój był komfortowy i dobrze wyposażony.
Brak recepcji w godzinach popołudniowych zupełnie nam nie przeszkadzał.
Śniadanie było przyzwoite. W okolicy duży market oraz ze dwie restauracje.
Bardzo dobra cena za całość. Byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu.
Internet w pokoju działał bardzo dobrze. Pokój był komfortowy i dobrze wyposażony.
Brak recepcji w godzinach popołudniowych zupełnie nam nie przeszkadzał.
Śniadanie było przyzwoite. W okolicy duży market oraz ze dwie restauracje.
Bardzo dobra cena za całość. Byliśmy bardzo zadowoleni z pobytu.
