Fine b and b , good base
Quiet location, nice spacious room with fine bathroom, we stayed in 257, welcome very warmly, breakfast very tasty and extensive. All the little attentions, delicious sweets in the room and we could put our bikes in the garage. We went out for dinner and made bike rides, there is plenty to do and see in and around Izegem, very much enjoyed.

It's good to be there!
After a perfect communication with host Mathias regarding booking and time of arrival he has warmly received us and extensively introduced us to his home and home. Together with Lore he forms a unique tandem as a couple and host family. Both are home to many markets and their life experience and unwavering commitment were the artful thread throughout our stay.
Our room was a ballroom-, neat and cared for to perfection. The bed (two beds that are next to each other and also covered separately) was blissful to sleep in: perfect mattresses and pillows! A bottle of water and the presence of a minibar ensure you don't have to go thirsty. The bathroom is a palace of comfort and cleanliness.
And breakfast...! What opulence and variety! Every morning (we stayed there for three nights) a variation on the assortment of sandwiches and cakes, cheeses and joghurt, homemade jams and smoothies. An egg of your choice and an overflowing glass with a variety of fruit to say to!
We had fascinating conversations with Lore and Mathias, listened in wonder and admiration. A life experience richer!
And to put it in the words of Mathias: "Life is like a Suske and Wiske comic strip" to which my friend added: " A new prayer card every day!" ☺️

Excellent Hospiltality!
This was our first stay in Izegum which is about 25 mins drive from both Ypres and Bruges. Sint Pieter is the most delightful Bed & Breakfast situated in a quiet residential area. Parking is on road. You can easily walk into the town where they are some very nice restaurants. Our stay was delightful - the building is not as old as it looks yet quite traditional. Our bedroom was very large and everything is provided for your stay. It is immaculately clean, lovely white bedlinen and extremely comfortable beds. The bathroom is extremely modern with an enormous bath with a hand held shower. Our hosts made us feel extremely welcome and speak excellent English. A fabulous breakfast is provided which will certainly set you up for the day. Amazing fresh fruit salad! We stayed for 3 nights as we were attending the WW1 centenary events in the area. Thank you for letting us stay in your lovely home.

Thank you from your English visitors!
We booked three nights at the Sint Pieter for our trip over for the WWI centenary. The accommodation is superb and provides great value for money. The breakfast, in particular, is worthy of mention and the proprietors are extremely helpful, polite & welcoming.
Izegem is approximately 25 km from Ypres but other WWI commemorations are nearer. Nonetheless, we liked Izegem. It is extremely clean & tidy are there are sufficient bars & restaurants to occupy tourists for a couple of nights.

Leuke babbel bij een lekker ontbijt!
Bij onze aankomst in de b en b werden we direct hartelijk ontvangen door de eigenaar. We kregen een rondleiding en veel tips en info. We kregen ook direct een plaats voor onze fietsen aangewezen in de garage, echt tof. Onze kamer was ruim en mooi ingericht. Niets ontbrak ( misschien een koffie- of theezakje ) !
's Morgens stond er een heerlijk ontbijt op ons te wachten mét een verse fruitsla! Super! Wat ook zeer gezellig was, was dat de gastheer en de gastvrouw ook aan een tafeltje in de kamer zaten, we hadden echt tijd voor een fijne babbel!
