Perfect location great room close to the split !!’

First of all, Jan notified us that Construction would be going on while we were staying there. I decided no problem. I am a construction worker and I understand they’re gonna make a little noise but that’s OK. We’re not gonna be in the room all day and while we were there, we heard nothing saw the guys come in in the morning and that’s about it. You couldn’t ask for a better location we had the room that faced the water room number one nice little patio. Everyone who worked there was so kind the security guard at night was there all night sitting in the courtyard made us feel very secure and we were able to walk to everything from there. Perfect location. We are definitely planning coming back and staying again. They even gave us a ride to the airport when it was time to leave. Can’t wait for the top two floors to be finished and that’ll be a great view from the roof.

Great location, Friendly staff

Nothing is very far away, Jan’s was near the split and easy access to everything. They arranged for our pick up from airport and to Ferry when leaving.
Undergoing some construction, so main entries were dusty. Rooms are simple but have what you need. Looked to be a few bigger apartment type rentals as well.
Great location and friendly /helpful staff.

Last minute notification of major construction at this hotel has left me having to re-plan my accommodations!

I was notified by this hotel 12 days prior to my Feb 21 st arrival date that there was major construction going on. They said that they were offering any guest checking in in January or February cancellation without penalty. Obviously, they knew this was an issue well before the time that they notified me. Now I am scrambling to find another accommodation,and I’m no longer eligible for the discounted hotel bundled rate at Expedia because the new reservation will not be bundled with the flight that I reserved. I made this reservation several months ago, and not only is this situation Unfortunate, it could’ve been avoided with minimal communication from the hotel. Please don’t support this business. The way they treat their customers is inconsiderate and unprofessional at a minimum.

Not what we were expecting

This hotel should not have been operating during our stay at the beginning of January. Construction was underway, adding two additional stories to the property. Guests had to avoid workers carrying lumber on the stairs and navigate around construction materials blocking exits, which felt unsafe. Construction noise began as early as 8:30 a.m., including on weekends.
The front desk staff were genuinely lovely and accommodating, and the housekeeping team did their best. However, anyone who has lived through renovations knows how difficult it is to maintain cleanliness—dust was everywhere despite their efforts.
The photos on the booking site do not reflect the current state of the hotel. If you book based on those images, you will be very disappointed. While the location is good, the island itself is small, so most accommodations offer a similarly convenient location.
This stay was booked four months in advance, yet there was no communication from the hotel warning us about the construction. It was an extremely disappointing way to end an otherwise wonderful trip to Belize.

Noisy level extreme

Major construction noisy .Street noise loud .had to ask for amenities .but was a nice clean room new lin en everyday nice people
