Absolutely amazing

Wow! Our guide Rowinda was amazing. He knew all the spots to find the animals. Lion, lioness with cubs, impala, Kudo mother nursing her baby, cougar, black face Jackal, hyena, elephants to name a few. We had 2 game drives with him and the a river cruise. Elephants, crocodiles and Hippos in the water on our cruise, a truly amazing experience. Would recommend 100% thanks Rowinda!

A great lodge

The lodge is located on the banks of the Chobe River and has a beautiful park.
Rooms are located on the sides of a courtyard, each with covered outdoor seating.
Our double room had a ceiling fan and air conditioning.
There is also a small swimming pool overlooking the river.
We bought a postcard to send to our family. The ladies at the reception told me I had to pay 20p to send them. Unfortunately, the card never arrived and probably never will!

Hotel is about 15 minute drive to Chobe National Park and to cruise. The Lodge itself is very basic. The maintenance staffs are very attentive and try very hard to make guests comfortable.
The sunset cruise is must. Boat operator and guide Sha is so skillful and sensitive. He explains many insightful knowledges on wildlife. He always knows where wildlife are: yawning hippos, fighting crocodiles and lizards, heard of swimming elephants, rare Cape buffalo, birds, hundreds water lilies and beautiful sunsetting to the last minute.
The 3 hour game drive is so so due to time limitations. You need stay at least 1 night in the park to see more wild animals.

Improved Welcoming

A fairly large structure and surrounded by greenery along the river Cuando. I used this complex for a couple of days with a tent so I can not comment on the rooms, restaurant, etc. I can say that the Welcoming was not the best, very listless staff, little available even when asked for clarification. The areas dedicated to camping have however appeared well equipped and clean such as toilets, showers, washbasins, etc. The structure is quite busy and for this reason is not very quiet. WiFi only covers the central body.

Decent stay

Nice property in Kasane with nearby supermarket and fast food. Pool is not great. Rooms weren’t bad but a bit tight for space, with great climate control. Only 1 key provided which was annoying. Check in was chaotic with excessive numbers of forms - this can be made much more efficient. Wifi was generally working but sometimes spotty. Game drive through the lodge was good.
