Excellent guesthouse that provides unforgettable moments
Excellent accommodation with an amazing space for meditation and enjoying nature. You don't have to leave the guest house to see clear waterfalls and lagoon. The canine guides are an attraction apart.

DOESN'T GO DURING THE WEEK
The guesthouse is somewhat isolated in the mountain, has a very interesting trail, with waterfalls and very nice bathing. The chalet 10 is spacious, clean and well cared for (despite some infiltrations), the hydromassage bath is excellent, with great products, salts, foams, produced in the region. However, the price is a problem: being the most expensive guesthouse in Carrancas has a very poor cost-benefit ratio, it does not deliver much. We were at the beginning of the week, we were the only guests from Monday to Wednesday. On Monday, without a cook, a nice girl made us a mackerel for dinner. On Tuesday, rainy, we were informed by whatsapp at 17:00 hours that there would be no dinner and we had to go to the city (restaurant Recanto, a good surprise, I recommend). Most of the time, there was no one (believe!), no person at the services, restaurant (always closed, without any bar service) or reception. Fact: If you want water or a beer in the middle of the afternoon, forget: everything is closed and you will be really alone. For several hours we didn’t see a single employee (except a gardener), so we couldn’t even leave the keys at the reception. All communication during the stay was made, mainly, by whatsapp, believe me. The pool, said heated, even had the circulation on during our entire stay. Therefore, our advice: the cost-benefit is bad yes. But most importantly, do not go during the week, as you will be treated as the worst of the guests, quite differently than, I hope, the guests are treated on the weekend. It would be more honest to inform that the hostel does not operate from Monday to Wednesday.

Agradecemos por compartilhar sua experiência com tantos detalhes. Ficamos felizes que tenha apreciado o chalé, a trilha e nossos produtos regionais. Lamentamos e pedimos desculpas pelos pontos que não atenderam às suas expectativas. Passamos por um período sem a gerência, mas ainda assim acompanhávamos de perto as necessidades dos hóspedes, tanto presencialmente quanto por telefone. Moramos na pousada e estávamos sempre disponíveis; porém, reconhecemos que a comunicação não foi clara o suficiente, e acabamos não nos encontrando presencialmente.
Sobre o funcionamento do restaurante, a responsável enviou a mensagem informando a indisponibilidade e, ao perceber que não havia sido visualizada, reenviamos às 17h pelo telefone da pousada. Como não conseguimos encontrá-los e não queríamos incomodá-los no chalé, optamos por reforçar a comunicação por mensagem.
Quanto ao custo-benefício, estamos sempre aprimorando nossos espaços e, além das trilhas exclusivas para hóspedes, contamos com uma área de spa com banheiras de hidromassagem aquecidas, sauna a vapor e salas de terapia — como massagem, escalda-pés, lareira e ducha Vichy — estruturas que não são encontradas em outras pousadas da cidade e que buscamos oferecer com muito cuidado. Sobre a piscina, ela realmente não é aquecida e não anunciamos isso em nenhum canal; antigamente ela era coberta, o que pode gerar essa impressão.
Felizmente, agora estamos operando com a equipe completa e estaremos ainda mais atentos, especialmente nos dias de semana. Pedimos desculpas novamente pela experiência. Seu feedback é muito importante para o nosso aprimoramento. Esperamos ter a oportunidade de recebê-lo(a) novamente.

Wonderful guesthouse, but I had the problems in chalet 10
At the reception, we were informed that the chalet we booked, number 10, was the most beautiful of the guesthouse, which left us even more excited. However, the first day, the bathtub had no hot water and the toilet was without water. We requested maintenance, and the problem was solved for only a few hours. During the three days, we were unable to use the bathtub and with little water pressure in the pot. In short, our stay was not 100% satisfactory due to the conditions of the chalet 10.
Another point that disappointed us was that we were not offered any kind of compensation for the disorder. I myself had to request a discount, which in the end represented only 6% of the total value of the stay. We left with the feeling that the guest experience is not a priority.
The place, on the other hand, is wonderful, in the middle of nature. The trails and waterfalls within the area of the guesthouse are spectacular. The common area and the spa are a delight, even with limited hours, from 14:00 to 19:00. The breakfast is simple but tasty. It is only worth noting that the access road can be a challenge for very low cars.

Olá, Tyene. agradecemos por compartilhar sua experiência conosco e lamento muito pelos transtornos que vocês enfrentaram no chalé 10. Realmente não era essa a experiência que gostaríamos de ter proporcionado.
Na primeira noite, tivemos um imprevisto técnico reportado por vocês: o cano que abastece o chalé 10 descolou. Realizamos o reparo imediatamente, mas ele acabou soltando em outro ponto. A equipe trabalhou no problema até cerca de 22h15, quando o serviço foi concluído.
Na manhã seguinte, nosso funcionário da manutenção esteve no chalé e nos informou que o vaso sanitário havia normalizado. Também foi verificado o aquecedor da banheira, que estava funcionando normalmente — inclusive vocês puderam utilizá-la.
Na terceira noite, às 18h, vocês nos informaram que a água da banheira não estava esquentando. Fomos ao chalé, mas como não havia ninguém, não conseguimos testar. Às 21h, retornamos após novo aviso, porém não conseguimos identificar a causa do problema.
Com a sua avaliação, entendemos o quanto isso comprometeu o conforto de vocês, especialmente considerando a expectativa criada no momento do check-in.
Quanto ao desconto, aplicamos um valor proporcional ao chalé Standard (sem banheira) pelos dias em que a banheira não pôde ser utilizada. Mesmo o chalé 10 sendo mais espaçoso, buscamos compensar especificamente o item afetado. Lamento se o valor não transmitiu o cuidado que vocês esperavam.
Ficamos felizes que tenham aproveitado as trilhas, cachoeiras, áreas externas e o SPA. Esperamos recebê-los novamente para uma estadia completa e sem imprevistos.

Amazing!
Amazing! We went to stay only one day, on an alternative route as return from Tiradentes. We arrived on a cold and rainy Saturday. We stayed in the chalets with hydro. We made the trail of the Inn without any difficulty. We just don 't get into the water because of the cold . But the escalda feet and the hydro around were wonderful. We only regret not having dinner at the Inn, fix p next time, with with ctz will happen!

A little slice of paradise well worth the trip from the states!
I thought I'd add another english review since I will 100% be returning to this little gem. I'll start by saying this is a wonderful resort for english speaking tourist. Bruno, the owner and chef extraordinaire, gives this place the relaxed and welcoming environment that the setting already provides. He speaks english and will give you the whole run down of the place, complete with dog lead excursions to the many waterfalls surrounded the hotel.
Bruno also makes some of the best pasta you'll find not only in Brazil, but anywhere I've been. A unique menu each night. I was amazed by the selection and quality of all the dishes we tried. In short, the food is worth the trip alone.
If you're looking for a romantic escape far secluded from the hustle and bustle of modern life, then I really can't recommend this place enough. My only wish is that I had booked 3 days instead of 2. I could have definitely spent another day exploring the wonderful trails and waterfalls.
