Our first night was not great. The people next door were loud and partied all night until 6am. The hotel supervisor was amazing and moved us to a different room, talked to the guests and then gave us a complimentary breakfast for the inconvenience. The restaurant staff were also wonderful, apologizing for the issue. Customer service gets 110% rating. Would definitely return based on how wonderful the staff were!

Lack of judgement of early check in charge
Attended a wedding Edmonton with most of the out of town guests staying at the hotel. We checked in a
Little after 12 noon with day supervisor Teju I think was his name. They charged us $25 for early check in. Not have been at a double tree Hilton. He advised ahead of the extra charge . Even when I nicely requested a concession as the wedding ceremony started at 4:30. He said we can wait for 2 hours if we want . Yikes on the option offered. I think he had an autopilot answer . No discretion and judgement for supervisory role. Unless this is Hilton management direction. Really curious. I know it’s their policy but first time I had a hotel charge extra for checking in early when room is available. A bit off putting . Really too bad because one of the nicest looking doubletrees with Hilton name attached to it . It left a bad taste .

The room was clean and spacious. Their system was down so check in was extremely slow but they did their best. Family had ordered wine to be in our room on check in which didn’t happen as we were given a different room. The wine was retreaved at 10:30pm after we had gone to the dinner theatre and asked at the front desk. We were given free breakfast to make up for it, fabulous time and great staff.

My stay was ok
The fire alarm went off at 5am then 4 fire trucks arrived. After some time the trucks left and the alarms stopped.
Windows don’t open.
They had to more us as the first room had sewer smells. The next room was ok.
Beds and linens are good.

I got an upgrade because my room was not ready to a suite. Great set up. excellent bar.
