My go to spot for whenever I’m in Montreal. Great location, not too expensive and includes free parking. The rooms are great and the outdoor pool is nice when it’s open. They were missing the bath rob (which is nice that this hotel still offers that) in my room. Found out the housekeeping must have somehow missed it when I asked the next morning. Definitely going back!!

Hotel with a gross-out factor

Room cleaned very poorly. Everything is very old and dilapidated. The photos have nothing to do with reality.
Towels were not replaced, coffee was not refilled. The bathroom was full of the previous guest's hair.

Reasonable priced but older property with included parking. Liked that there was filtered water & ice machine on our floor. Close to a couple of good places to eat. Room was a good size but bathroom could have been larger as it was a bit tight. Overall good for a couple nights stay.

My wife and I have been staying at the Ruby-Foos for many years and we very disappointed in this most recent visit. One gets the feeling that the property is doing only the minimum and quality control has gone out the window! What used to be a great hotel has sunk in quality and value.
Our list of room complaints include one bathrobe, not two; no hot water in the sink; uncleaned miroirs, no facecloth's; no courtesy laundry bag; TSN was not available on the in room TV; small bath towels; no safety bar in the bathtub. Desk top charging interfaces for laptops, cell phones and tablets were taped over and not available.
While the common areas were clean, they were uninspiring. I remind the hotel management that you now have competition up the street from Wyndham and Hilton and we will check these new properties out before we call you again.

The hotel is not downtown but the Metro Station Namur is very close! Rooms are large with good beds and large bathrooms. Staff is helpful and h24 on duty. Free Parking if you are driving. Breakfast or lunch are available at the B&F restaurant inside the hotel (open until 15:00) or in a few fast food places nearby. The swimming pool is a good relaxing opportunity during summer. Negative points for tourists: No hotel vending machine at all for drinks or snacks. No laundry options (inside or nearby). During your stay, if you need to clean your shirts, you must go downtown!
