Perfect night’s stay in Calama

What a beautiful spot in Calama! I was looking for a comfortable, quiet and relaxing night’s stay before catching an early flight the next morning, and this place could not have been more perfect for that. Impeccably clean, spacious and comfortable rooms (my bed was like a cloud), and helpful staff made my stay excellent. Less than 10 minutes from the airport, I was able to enjoy the delicious free breakfast and make it to the airport with no rush. The kind reception staff even called me a cab that morning, which arrived promptly on time. All in all a wonderful night’s stay for an incredible price - the value here is superb. The pool and outdoor facilities also looked very nice, I wish I could have enjoyed them as well! If I ever need to stay in Calama again, this is where I’ll come.

Atankalama: a simple and friendly hotel.

The hotel is very basic and the precariousness of the service is compensated with the kindness of the collaborators of the hotel. The food service is nutritious and healthy, although it lacks a bit of variety on the menu. The rooms are simple and if something is needed (clothes hooks, hair dryer, etc.) at the reception they provide it with agility.

Good room but poor quality food

The rooms are good but the food is terrible, horrible sauces, poor cooking, disassembled dishes, cold breakfast, very bad experience at this time, the reception staff, very bad attention, they bring it from other places without the corresponding chain.

Close to airport

The location that is close to the airport, so close I walked to this place whereas my family was arranged a transfer by the hotel. Good reviews about everything but the internet and wi-fi connection!!

Comfortable stay!

We had a very comfortable stay at Atankalama. The location itself is not amazing, but we didn’t need to leave the hotel for much anyway. We picked this place due to its close proximity to the airport. The owner was friendly and was attentive to our needs. They even organised a nice packed breakfast for us as we had an early morning flight. We had the 3-course dinner at the restaurant which was delicious and came with wine too. The rooms were big, well air-conditioned, the showers were amazing and beds were very comfortable!
