Unforgettable Stay at Conrad Dalian

As a Hilton Honors Diamond member, I have stayed in many Hilton hotels around the world, but my last stay at Conrad Dalian was especially memorable. Upgraded to executive corner room as soon as you enter the room. The view from the two large windows is simply stunning. I can see Dalian Port, the wharf, and the city skyline during the day and night. It's so beautiful, I can't get tired of watching it. The room was spacious and the bathtub overlooking the harbour made my stay very special. The location of the hotel is also excellent, close to Donggang and surrounding attractions. It was a great place to explore the area and the Executive Lounge was my favorite spot during my stay; It offers a great view, a relaxed setting and a wide variety of drinks and snacks. The breakfast was also impeccable, a combination of Chinese and Western, and every dish was delicious; Every time I eat very full and satisfied. A special mention is Genji Japanese Cuisine. Exquisite dishes and courteous, professional staff made my stay very enjoyable from start to finish, but what really sets Conrad Dalian apart is staff Maggie. Although she is on vacation, everything is done through WeChat. She was always kind and professional. Linda welcomed me warmly at check-in and we met at the Executive Lounge on departure; Your hospitality makes me feel truly valued. I would also like to thank the concierge team and all the staff I met during my stay. Everyone was nice and granted every wish with a smile. They also helped me pick up my packages, which greatly relieved the stress of my trip. From the elegant lobby and excellent facilities to impeccable service in every way, Conrad Dalian exceeded my expectations in every way. A big thank you to Maggie, Linda, the staff at Genji Japanese, the concierge and all the Conrad staff for making a memorable time. I want to stay here next time I come to Dalian. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a luxury and hospitality experience.

Lol

Note: This hotel sells rooms on trip.com for 800 CNY with a 1 day cancellation policy while they charge ~1400 CNY with 14 day cancellation on the official Hilton website. I usually have no complaints if OTAs are 10 - 20% cheaper but this is simply unacceptable.
Check-in staff: 1/5
Particularly unfriendly and dismissive
Exec lounge staff: 2/5
Out of the 4+ staff members here, only 1 was helpful. Others were cold, rude, and ignored half of the guests. Not really sure why
Room: 3/5
There is a weird smell in the room and the AC is weak
Location: 2/5
Good sea view in the business district. Far from everything else
Price Discrimination against Hilton Members: -5/5
I think I wasn’t the right type of guest for this hotel. Not recommended

Good location. Subpar service

The hotel's overall service is subpar. A few examples:
- When I arrived at 5:30pm, the room was not ready.
- I needed service at around 11pm, both front desk routed my call to concierge for delivering supply to room but concierge was not there for 30 min. When I requested front desk to provide the service, the front desk refused.
- When I inquired about the bill at checkout time, the front desk lady was very impatient and rude when I asked basic questions of when to expect deposit refund.

The reason to visit Conrad is to make a nice stay in Conrad.

The hotel is based in Conrad, Shanghai, and has visited China 10 times in 25 years, including Conrad & Hilton, Qingtai Marriott, Westin Qingtai, and Nanjing.
Before we visited China, because we were politically different from Korea, we had a lot of worries about China because we had terrible feelings about it. In fact, when we visited China, we experienced that the real Chinese were so friendly, the Chinese food was also delicious, and the hotel costs were cheaper than the Korean hotels of the same class.
Due to the good experience in China, we stay for 2 nights and 3 days at hotels in China almost every month.
I made my first visit to Conrad today and chose Conrad as my first hotel.
We visited five-star hotels in various countries abroad, but the first time we had a staff who checked in in check-in in check-in check-in was the first time we had guided the room. In addition, the staff at the lounge were very grateful to help, despite the lack of language.
The restaurant, the massage bookings, and especially the executive lounge, where two of the staff were working, showed how hard they worked, and when the customer asked questions, it seemed so good to have two people jumping and answering. Hannah was especially helpful.
Furthermore, the good thing for smokers is that Conrad House has designated the first floor as a smoking room, making it a very good hotel for smokers. Despite the smoking class, there was no smell of cigarettes, and the smoking room was good because there was little smell of cigarettes. For smoking customers, I think that Conrad Cavaliers would be a very good option.
Furthermore, Conrad was very good at making the executive lounge happy enough to have dinner, and it was so good to be able to choose from breakfast, lounge and breakfast.
Conrad Seoul recently stayed, but it's three times more expensive than Conrad, and compared to Hilton Diamonds paying for use of a sauna, breakfast, and swimming pools one time a day, Conrad in China was embarrassed that there were no such restrictions.
It seems like I spent my life in a hotel in Conrad and it was such a good stay, and I feel like I will have to visit Conrad again in order to stay in Conrad!!!

Enjoyable with my friend especially during the period of off season

Nice location and fantastic environment and ocean view, very enjoyable with my friend, all facilities were well operated even during the period of off season but very quiet. The breakfast waitress was very polite as well as the lobby service. Finally they offered the Chinese tea in reception and tasted good
